This is simply the best! It’s at least 20 minutes from the airport, so no plane noises and right across the street from a fantastic mall with international stores I’ve never seen before! The food in the restaurants here is delicious and the spa is sensational!

I liked that this property has a bunch of restaurants, and several pools accessible in later hours. It has a good resort vibe. It looks like a "5 star". I stayed there with a friend instead of my usual spot in San Jose, because they were close to where I wanted to be and had double rooms available. The room was nice, bathroom had marble everything. The beds, I got horrible sleep, as they decided to over luxify the thing by adding down mattress topper, down duvet, and down pillows. All of this in a tropical climate. Basically that meant I had to keep the A/C as low as possible (as a Canadian), and bed was too hot. Daily room cleanup... my friend and I were sleeping in late, which meant that, we put up a sign that had three parts (I want cleaning, cleaning in progress, dont bother me). This sign apparently confuses the staff. Because even though we wanted privacy, we only got our room cleaned/towels changes 2 out of 5 nights we stayed there. One of the days my friend desperately asked the staff passing by to get fresh towels and get the room done. Her mistake was not to call front-desk. But not sure that would have worked, two phones in the room would only indicate a busy tone when front-desk was called. Now, to top all of this off. Once we checked out (a day earlier than what we paid for), we got a 100 USD bill, of that $50 was not ours. Mind you, that's 100_ USD in mini fridge bills for consuming only water (a mix of sizes and local vs import).

We had a huge family dinner in their restaurant. A big rat wandered through the facility. I had a reservation, with children and they weren’t able to give us two rooms even on the same floor. The parking ticket wouldn’t work to get out of the lot, so I took extra time, and I had to get an attendant to help me get out of the parking lot. There was trash piled outside our door on arrival which stayed there all through our stay Definitely not worth the money. Front desk staff at check-in—Oscar—very unhelpful

The fact that the hotel pool is open 24 hours was amazing. The hotel is incredibly safe and the staff were all amicable and worked hard to make sure that all of our stay was comfortable. The gym is fully outfitted with great equipment. The only problem was that when I checked in I was told that I didn’t pay for the breakfast and happy hour because I booked through Expedia. This mix up in communication didn’t break my trip too much. However, I would reconsider staying here in the future because the hotel is too pricey for no daily breakfast.

Nice hotel
It was a nice property. We had a premium balcony pool facing room. Shower had great pressure but definitely showed signs of leaks. They did give me a room that was occupied and we walked in at 1130 pm to someone sleeping and chased us out of the room. Once they gave me the correct room everything was good

The property is located in a nice area , we had a bad time checking in first they gave us a room that there were other gust in that room ,the second room they gave us was not clean so we had to go back to the lobby and ask them to clean the room

The room had a mildew smell and cobwebs, and the lamps didn’t work. The room service was slow and inedible (old soggy salads). The room upgrade wasn’t as described (not larger, no sofa bed) and when they promised free box breakfast as per upgrade, not all was given. If fact, they left them accessible for anyone to take that morning despite our planning with them for our early flight. Also, no bellman sent to my elderly parents despite repeated requests. NOT WORTH ANY MONEY at all. DO NOT STAY.

I love this hotel and i stay in this hotel every time i'm in San Jose. I was there for one night this time and after checking in, i stepped out only to come back to sleep around 2am. The A/C was making a loud rumbling noise and i recorded the issue. I was tired so i placed earplugs and went to sleep. I mentioned this issue at check out and even forwarded the video on a staff phone for them to share with the manager. I was told I would get a call back or an email but to this day i have not heard back. It is disaponting to get this type of service for a loyal customer from intercontinental management.

This is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms, and facilities are very old and uncared for. And the service is appalling. I really must emphasize that no one in reception picks up the phone. Ever. So forget about room service. And if you are sick forget about getting any help. I will never return here. And I advise that you dont pay these exorbitant prices for a motel quality service.
