It's about a 15 minute drive from San Ignacio. If you don't have a rental car, I'm not sure how convenient it would be. If you do have a car, it is perfect. We went into town for meals and activities most of the time, but stayed for dinner at the property one night. The food was great and we got to see some wildlife in the trees. The bed was very comfortable. The wifi was crap. We didn't come to Belize for the internet, but we weren't able to have a quiet movie night after a long trip to the ATM cave due to 5 minutes of buffer for every minute of streaming. Oh well. Mahogany Hall exceeded my expectations, a total gem in the jungle and on the Mopan River. The Toucan Suite was incredibly spacious, with multiple balconies for an excellent cross breeze and view (plus there are multiple ceiling fans and AC). The bathroom was fabulous with a giant jacuzzi tub where you can soak and look at the stars. All of the staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. So convenient to have a bar and restaurant downstairs. Loved the free filtered water and all of the special touches. Would definitely visit here again! ##### Elizabeth B.
