This property is amazing but the surrounding area was very unsafe. I believe this was once a very nice area but unfortunately the area outside the property is chaos on two sides.
Thank you for taking the time to rate your experience with us. We appreciate your business and feedback. If there is anything we can do to make it right with you, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Love the ease with the staff and not the 1st or last time I’ll be staying @this property! Amazing views also ! Thanks again

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Staff & service
Our executive suite was sparce with only one tv, and not close to sitting areas. Windows (in both room and 55 restaurant) were dirty. Service in restaurant very slow, yet quality of breakfast food was great. Overall, too expensive!

The hotel itself was extremely nice for a fair price, had an amazing stay and all staff were so kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend coming here again!
Well run, good staff. On site restaurant & bar were better than average for a mainstream hotel. Location was decent for walking around esp close to Union Square, trolley, and if making longer walk to downtown or towards Fisherman's Wharf but definitely close to some very visible homelessness on the west side (toward The Tenderloin).
Hotel rooms are dated. But clean.
This hotel had the most efficient elevator system I have seen. The room was large, comfortable, well decorated. The entire hotel was clean and well kept. It is a fine hotel that has found a way to work despite a challenging neighborhood where, for too many, the streets have become their home.
This hotel needs to spend some money in the rooms. The entrance and reception area are very nice and appeared to be recently updated. The room was not up to standard for a Hilton or a $200 a night room. The shower was very slow to drain resulting in a bath while showering. The grout was dark in spots and appeared to be dirty or mold. The pull out sofa was awful and appeared to be very old. The mattress sagged and the springs could be felt. The extra blanket provided had a hole in it.

The only problem I encounter was your parking cost way too high couldn’t park down the street it was raining. If you want to bring people back cost
Liked how close things were but no place to smoke and if ur ok with getting hassled none stop from crackheads its ok . The security team does a pretty good job trying to keep them off u.
We loved the location, especially its closeness to public transportation (BART and Muni). The rooms are larger than most hotels in San Francisco, with large windows and a couch. The elevators were amazing! LOL. You key your floor in, and immediately one of the seven elevators is right there.
Great location for everything we wanted to do. Safe and quiet. State of the art elevators! Downside was that it took 3 tries to have an extra blanket delivered to the room. Also, We missed having room service.
