Nice clean hotel

Posted 27-Nov-2016
Pros: Convenience
Cons: nothing
Location: Close to shopping and restaurants
Older hotel remodeled nicely. Lots of plants and flowers around property make it look especially nice. Room was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.

A Bargain Close to Palo Alto

Posted 21-Nov-2016
Needed a hotel for a week close to the Stanford medical center. This hotel was only 15 minutes away and much less expensive than other hotels in the area. The room was clean and quiet - it was a great place to stay!

Nice hotel, good value for money

Posted 13-Nov-2016
Pros: Hotel is conveniently located on El Camino, clean room, not a fancy one, but definitely enough for business trips, possibly for personal trips as well.
Cons: Everything was satisfying, nothing really bad to say here...

The motel is about 30 yrs. beyond its heyday.

Posted 26-Oct-2016
Location: Lots of traffic! A lack of good, sit-down restaurants within walking distance. There is a Target store, in a mall, about 3 blocks away.
We were in a room with 2 queen beds. Nice mattresses, but we couldn't get to the closet without crawling over one. The bathroom fan sounded like a rusty bucket. Lodgers came into the room above us at about 1 am. It's not like we're "The Police", but we heard every step they took, and they didn't go to sleep!

Best Bang for Your Buck!

Posted 25-Oct-2016
Pros: I loved the kitchenette and the spa tub in the room. The bed was super comfy and the wood blinds are a very nice touch
Cons: The only ice machine I could find was near the office. Being we were in the rear of the hotel, that was the only inconvenience.
Location: I'm not too familiar with the area but there were recognizable landmarks nearby. I only questionable business was 'Hankey Pankey' across the street.
On the borderline of Palo Alto and Redwood City and several other 'High End' hotels, shopping, and the Stanford campus minutes away it was difficult finding an affordable room but I was pleasantly surprised by the large room, the kitchenette with a full-sized fridge and even ice trays! The Jacuzzi in the room was great although we couldn't get the jets to work properly but it was still very relaxing. The bed was ultra comfy and the big flat screen always makes TV viewing that much more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again, we even talked about getting another room as we were checking out. I can't wait to come back!
