The house was easy to find, on a quiet street, very comfortable beds, and has everything you need for your stay. The Muni stop at West portal is a short walk down the hill and takes you into downtown in 15 minutes. The town of West Portal is also a gem for those looking for a home base to explore the city or get away from the conference you’re attending downtown. Unfortunately I was in San Francisco for a surgery at UCSF. I was there for one night and my family stayed on for five days. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped. It's in a great neighborhood and it has parking which is a major plus! Debra was a wonderful host. Great location for picking up local transit, restaurants and stores close too. Loved that there was an assigned parking spot so we didn’t have to move the car! I needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay in the city for many days. The house is an older well-cared for, classic home with wood floors and accents. It is well appointed with comfortable furnishings and tasteful decorations, and comfortable beds. There are plenty of windows with lots of light and views to the hills and even the ocean and sunset when it is clear. The kitchen had everything we needed with more than enough dishes and utensils. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away in the hills of the city, it was a great place for easy walks and always felt safe. Plenty of shops and stores in walking distance. Transportation light rail and muni is nearby in walking distance. The owner was a good and responsive communicator and very helpful to my specific needs. It was all i had hoped for. I would definitely stay here again, no hesitation at all. ##### Paul B.
