Very clean & comfortable, great location

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: The helpful staff, the great location and excellent facilities: gym, dining room, bar and the new refurbishments.
Cons: The small bedrooms are too small for couples. Only good for an overnight stay for one person.
Location: Close to Union Square where everything happens! Close to transport, walking distance to China Town and other sights of interest to tourists.
Upon arrival we were disgusted with the Hotel. The room and bed were extremely small and the continental breakfast as advised was no longer included in the booking. However after expressing our extreme disappointment to Management we received a letter of apology. We were given a breakfast voucher to honour the original booking and for the second night of our stay we were upgraded to a King size room. The staff could not have been more helpful. The Hotel has undergone major renovation in recent months. It is very well presented with excellent facilities. We would return.

Hotel OK, location not so much.

Posted 16-May-2017
Pros: Staff is nice and the room is clean.
Cons: Air conditioning is hit and miss. Views from some rooms make them better suited to as storage rooms.
Location: Location is both a plus and a minus. It's central to the city and its attractions and transportation system but also to its countless homeless.
Hotel is fine, staff very nice, room ok offset by horrible views from the room windows (brick wall 5 feet away) and a drug market/homeless island neighbourhood.

Thank you for choosing Hotel Fusion as part of your San Francisco experience and thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the room was not to your standards. We are a boutique hotel in downtown San Francisco; rooms tend to be small and do not views.

Super location

Posted 13-May-2017
Pros: Location, wait staff, cleanliness
Cons: Noise abatement in the walls between rooms
Location: Everything the Union Square & South of Market areas have to offer in addition to easy access to BART, cable car, & bus to everywhere else.
The hotel and staff were nice the restaurant wait staff particularly nice. Very clean with everything in working condition. We had a very nice experience Monday-Wednesday nights but Thursday night had very noisy neighbors next door (the all night variety that starts in again at 5:30 AM) in addition to the VERY LOUD night club that is part of the hotel. Be aware that the night club noise is poundingly loud even on the 5th floor. You can hear music and people until about 2:30 AM. Not pleasant.

.You can do better.

Posted 8-May-2017
Pros: Central. Easy to get transport out and close to shops.eateries and a good walk to Fisherman's Wharf
Cons: Bathroom small, re-design room, put in automatic entrance doors.
Location: Information Centre visit a must..Discover TraderJoe, a cheap supermarket. Catch trolleys& buses, $2.50 for 90+ mins travel to see beyond central area
Very average. Room was awkward to get around in and bumped shins many times getting around the bed.Air con very old and noisy and blew cold air over one bed and not effective near other bed Old dark brown looking rooms. Location was convenient but area a bit dirty. Too expensive for what you get.

OK Hotel, Convenient Location

Posted 5-May-2017
Pros: A block from the Powell Street BART station.
Cons: Watch the details. The safe was a definite miss, the wireless a probable one. Also, replace the disposable plastic cups with a real glass or two.
Location: Union Square
Check-in was efficient and friendly, the room was tiny and faced into a ventilation shaft, so no street noise at least. Window-mounted air con worked fine and wasn't too noisy. Neither my laptop nor my phone would connect to the wireless but it was late so I didn't ask for help. The room safe was locked when I arrived, so I could not have used it. Again, it was late and it was only one night, so I didn't care that much.

The Staff was the best part of the hotel

Posted 24-Apr-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Parking Costs
Location: Union Square
Hotel Staff was very friendly! Our room was extremely small, like a dorm room. The cost of parking was a little pricey, but that's SF.

Beautiful hotel close to shopping

Posted 16-Apr-2017
Pros: The hotel was close to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation including hop on hop off buses for touring the city.
Cons: Our room was very small, more like a bedroom.
The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. The restaurant at the hotel was fabulous!

Bed sizes not as advertised, bad service

Posted 7-Apr-2017
We were excited to stay at the fusion but the rooms do not look anything like the photos on Expedia and the "Queen" beds are definitely smaller. I asked the front desk whether they gave me the wrong room and after putting me on hold they made me wait for 30 mins and I had to call them twice to see if they forgot about checking. They gave me a lot of attitude regarding my concerns but I not realize their "full" beds are twins and their "queen" beds are extended full beds. Don't bother arguing with them though, they will tell you that you're wrong and ignore your questions. Definitely NOT worth a $300 night - complete waste of money.
