Booked this hotel originally for 3 nights, but due to schedule conflicts, we had to check out a day early. Everything was going well (staff were friendly, gave food/beverage vouchers for their restaurant), until our first night at the hotel that i woke up in the middle of the night itching. I turned on the lights to see if there’s a sign of any bugs on the bed-nothing! so i went back to sleep. That morning, i woke up w/ bumps all over my right arm. I was hoping it wasn’t gonna be a major one so i shrug it off & continued w/ our itinerary for the day since my bf who was sleeping on the same bed w/ me didn’t get any bites at all. That afternoon it became worst, the parts where the bumps were is now swollen & the itching was worst. Came to a conclusion that they were bed bug bites since I’ve had them years ago & i know how they looked like. We told the front desk about it & they switched us to a new room (similar to the first one just diff floor) & said their engineering will check what caused the bites from the previous room. Hotel never offered to give us refunds or help w/ getting meds for the itch/swelling. They were nice to move us from that previous room, but I was just traumatized as this is the first time i’ve experienced it while travelling. I hope they’re able to find the cause of this to prevent other guests to experience what i did, as i was just prescribed to take antibiotic because the swelling is worst & to take precaution w/ getting an infection from it.
