"Best place if traveling to San Francisco"
I think this is the best place to stay if you're flying into SF. It's cheaper than hotels in San Francisco and San Mateo and as long as you stay on the peninsula and SF you don't have to cross a bridge a pay the toll to come back across. I just booked for another stay.

Hotel North Beach

It's sort of a hostel, with community bathrooms. But, both the guests and staff were cool. It's in a great location if you want to explore the Barbary Coast. Not too far from Fisherman's Wharf or the Embarcadero. My magnetic room card key didn't open the door after taking a shower, but I just had a friendly maid open my room for me. That was the first that's happened to me after staying there 3 times.

"Better than expected!"
I was worried when I saw this hotel had 2 1/2 stars. I initially thought I had booked the Holiday Inn Express in Burlingame and that had better reviews. I was pleasantly surprised upon check-in. Our room was very spacious, the bed was comfy and the seating area was great! Each room has a larger than average hotel fridge and a microwave. The room does have blackout shades despite some of the reviews on here. I'm not sure how people missed them! Breakfast has many options and it's free! Parking wasn't an issue at all. They do charge $10, but we knew that going in as it is stated on the website. Considering it's near the airport you have to expect this. Larger hotels charge even more to park. The only complaint I had was the air freshener used in the room. It needs to be toned down quite a bit as our clothes even smelled of the scent. I would recommend this HIE to a friend.

"Super Location!"
The hotel has bad wi-fi reception the further away you are from the office. Staff was very accommodating by changing our room. Rooms were spacious with a small kitchen. Free parking and a simple breakfast are provided. Only negative is the bath tub really needed to be cleaned. Excellent location. Across the street from Trader Joe's, grocery store and amazing food trucks for lunch. Next door to a bowling alley for families with children and a shot walking distance to the beach. A couple of blocks down are located excellent restaurants. I highly recommend the hotel for its convenient location.

Took a late flight into Oakland and decided to stay local. This hotel was perfect to launch our day into San Francisco. Only about 5 miles from the airport, and easy access to highways into San Francisco and elsewhere. Rooms were modern. Not large, but comfortable. Bathroom was comfortable size with large shower. Views from our room toward SF were great. Breakfast was great, with good assortment of foods, including made-to-order omelettes. Easy on-site parking. Friendly staff.

"One night stay."
Despite the Restaurant Remodel and the Road Construction, we were very impressed with this Hotel. The Staff was welcoming and helpful. As we were checking out, I had left my Coat hanging in the closet and a Member of the Staff RAN from our room to catch us at the Elevator to return my coat. We were at the opposite end of the Hotel from the Elevators!

When you spend extra time in SF, you can do more than the usual sightseeing activities. Make time to participate in those truly off-the-wall rituals of the city.

For starters, join Critical Mass. On the last Friday of every month, hundreds of cyclists ride through town on their way home, on their way out, or to simply join in the community spirit. While the movement is popular in other cities, it started right here in SF. Speaking of sports, if you’re a jogger, you may have a tradition of touching a certain marker before turning around. Ken Hopper, an iron-worker of the Golden Gate Bridge, noticed this behavior and created the Hopper’s Hands plaque that now hangs on the chain-link fence at Crissy Field. After a day in the outdoors, head into Castro Theatre. Built in 1922, it still has Roaring 20s charm, as well as a modern attitude. You can find all sorts of odd film festivals and sing-along events happening throughout the year.

You may also find yourself singing the praises of cheap rates on apartment hotels in San Francisco. Book right here on to discover a wide range of discounts on top hotels in San Francisco, whether you’re looking for long-term accommodations or a simple inn for the night.

Come take part in San Francisco’s uniqueness during your long stay. Even if you just want to check out off-the-beaten path local eateries or avant-garde theatre shows, this city never runs out of activities for a curious traveller like you.
