Our Property Retreat to this cozy coastal getaway in the vibrant neighborhood of Hillcrest. With bright, natural light, you can enjoy the view of San Diego from the balcony. Enjoy the privacy of your apartment while being in walking distance to everything in Hillcrest. Convenient parking around the neighborhood is easily accessible or if you prefer, public bus transportation is available in front of the complex. Our apartment is on the second floor with stair access and also has a private secondary entrance through one of the bedrooms. Enjoy the laundry in-unit and a dedicated workspace if needed. Neighborhood is nice and centrally located. Property manager is very responsive and helpful, one of the best I've had through VRBO. The listing says parking onsite, but there is only street parking when available. I parked a block or more away most times. There was construction on the units immediately behind us during our stay which added noise and made it less relaxing. I wish this had been disclosed prior to our visit. Small issues with the unit, like a bed frame that needs replacing (slats were broken underneath) and smoke alarm goes off if you use the oven. Good overall for the price. ##### John and Nehsa R. It is located on the second floor of an older apartment building in central San Diego, with convenient access to many city amenities, including the Zoo. The Hillcrest neighborhood is an older area that is undergoing some renewal and gentrification. Some small stores, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. We had a very nice, comfortable stay in our two days in this charming apartment. The owner was very communicative and gracious in allowing us early access to the unit so we could store our bags. ##### Robert H.
