The house is well laid out for everyone to be together or go to their separate spaces. We had toddlers, children, teens, and adults and everyone was happy. The gated pool was chilly but the kids still got in some. There were plenty of pool toys and games on the deck. We enjoyed grilling out and sitting in the sun while the kids played. I really appreciated that they had all sizes of life jackets and puddle jumpers for little ones. There are beach chairs which was nice as we spent one day at the beach. The house is located so that it take about 15 - 20 minutes to get to everything. We went to the Zoo, SeaWorld, Old Town, and the beach at Kellogg Park/ La Jolla(which is very kid friendly.)
