Perched on the 11th floor, this home offers breathtaking, unobstructed ocean views from every room—stretching from South Mission Beach to the La Jolla coastline! Perfect for families or friends traveling together, this light-filled condo combines comfort, space, and a front-row seat to San Diego’s coastal lifestyle. The Space Living Areas The open living room features floor-to-ceiling corner windows showcasing panoramic ocean views, comfortable seating, a queen sleeper sofa, smart TV with DVR, and roller blinds. Adjacent is a cozy sitting area—ideal for morning coffee while watching surfers and dolphins. Kitchen & Dining The fully equipped kitchen is designed for meals at home and entertaining, with: • Dining table seating 6–8 (expandable with drop-in leaf) • Breakfast bar seating for 4 • Pantry/wine closet • Standard coffee maker and full cookware Bedrooms & Bathrooms • Primary Bedroom: King bed with NEW mattress, ocean views, ceiling fan, smart TV with DVR, ample storage, and ensuite full bath with tub/shower • Guest Bedroom: Two queen beds, smart TV with DVR, ceiling fan, ocean and north PB views, and ensuite full bath with tub/shower • Wall heaters are provided in each room. Capri by the Sea is one of the most desirable oceanfront buildings in San Diego—and the views from this unit are truly exceptional. Summer (Memorial Day–Labor Day): 5 night minimum, no arrivals on July 4th (Independence Day) Holidays: 5 night minimum. There are no arrivals on Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day. • Check-In/Out: Check-in is 3 p.m. (4 p.m. in summer). Check-out is 11 a.m. • Group Travel: We manage multiple units in this building. Please inquire if you need more space for a larger family or group. • Property Note: This is a privately owned vacation home. Furnishings and decor may occasionally be updated and differ slightly from the photos. • Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted. • Rate Policy: Rates fluctuate daily. Pricing at the time of booking is the confirmed rate. • Age Policy: We typically do not rent to guests under 25 or to large groups. Please contact us prior to booking if your group requires an exception. • Climate Control: The condo does not have central A/C. It is equipped with electric wall heaters for cooler evenings and enjoys a wonderful ocean breeze. • Laundry: Coin-operated laundry machines are conveniently located down the hall from the unit for your use. • Beach Gear Provided: We provide a variety of beach accessories, including 4 adult chairs, 1 child’s chair with an umbrella, a large umbrella, 2 boogie boards, 2 paddleboards, and 4 flotation vests (2 adult, 2 child). • Starter Kit: We provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and detergents. All linens, bath towels, and beach towels are also included. • Traveling with Children: Baby equipment, including a pack ‘n play, high chair, and crib, is available to rent for your convenience. Please inquire for details. We recommend a car for navigating San Diego, but public transportation is just a couple blocks away. If you\`re planning to stay put in Pacific Beach, there is no need for cars! Whether it was morning coffee or sunset, the scenery alone almost makes the stay worth it. Additionally, the location is unbeatable—we were central to everything and found it very easy to get around.The condo itself was clean and functional, but it is worth noting that the decor feels dated. While it didn't negatively impact our comfort, the interior doesn't quite match the premium feel of the view or the location.This rental is managed by a third-party agency outside of VRBO. This added an extra layer of complexity to the process, making the experience feel less smooth than a typical VRBO stay. ##### Colonel L. The views from this 11th story corner unit are stunning. It is directly on the ocean with a paved path along the ocean that goes for miles directly in front of the condo complex. There is a short ramp in front of the complex that goes directly to the beach and it is a great beach. There are tons of restaurants and cafes in walking distance of the condo. Every room has ocean views (except bathrooms). They have everything you need including equipment for making meals, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, enough coffee pods for 1-2 days, beach chairs, beach towels, lots of extra towels, beach toys….. Sofa, loveseat, recliner chairs, and beds are all very comfortable. We had lots of plans during our 6 day stay but found ourselves wanting to be back to the condo late afternoons to walk the beach and to see the stunning sunsets. We also just spent a few days hanging out. For plans in San Diego we did the hop on/off trolley tour the first day to figure out where we wanted to spend more time. We started it at Old Town and although the paid parking was filled up it was easy to find free street parking close by. The Zoo was fantastic but be sure to do the bus tour first to see layout and we got to see more animals up close as compared to walking which we did after the bus tour. The bus tour is included in the ticket and be sure to sit on the top. It is clean, well furnished, great location, beautiful views, and stocked well with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The management responds immediately with any concerns they let you know whenever they need to come into the apartment to do repairs. The management is extremely respectful. We especially liked our master bedroom in which the one wall was all glass with a sliding door that opened up to a sitting area with 2 easy chairs where we could sit and watch the ocean and listen to the waves and smell the sea air. I love to hear in the ocean every day and every night. There was so much to do and Pacific Beach and San Diego. The condo is well stocked with towels, Beach chairs, beach towels, supplies and extra linen. Wonderful vacation. The property manager who was accessible and helpful whenever I had an issue. However there were a couple of suggestion we would have For future renters. The king bed in master is probably ready for replacement. It is very noisey and creaked every time we moved on it. I would also recommend directions on the operation of the remote control's. We are very tech savvy but 2 remotes and 3 channel boxes can be confusing. The screen door track rollers need replacing. They kept jumping off the tracks. We will definitely be repeat renters at this property. For a 7 day stay the number of towels seemed a little light we had 4 adults and 2 children for a total of 6 towels. And lastly a laundry string for bathroom to dry suits and beach towels. Again, fantastic location, well equipped with kitchen utensils and excellent onbience. ##### Lee S. Stunning. The decor was beachy and the layout perfect. Parking right by the elevator. Shops and Restaurants are in walking distance. We wanted someplace to relax while we explored San Diego and mentally prepared to head to Disney afterwards - this was the perfect spot. The view cannot be beat - perfect sunsets and views of surfers in the waves all day. Several restaurants in walking distance and an easy drive to the San Diego sights. Extra bonuses: stocked with soap/towels/shampoo/etc, parking in the building's garage, heated pool, easy access to AND supplies for the beach (where the kids swam at even at 59 degrees!). This was a really well-stocked, nicely decorated, and wonderfully located spot and we loved our stay. I wish we had spent more time just lounging and taking in the view; it was hard to leave. Only drawback was the laundry - down the hall, needed quarters to operate, had to wait for other people to be done, and the dryer didn't work so great so we spent the last night with clothes hanging all over the apartment.
