LOCATION: The house is in a great location - close to so many attractions (the zoo, pier, gaslamp, Petco Park, etc) but also on a nice quiet street, so it still feels like you're tucked away from the noise. There is a small playground at the end of the block, which was a nice added bonus for us with our two little ones!! HOST - Steve was awesome. Warm, personable, and super helpful. We encountered a few minor issues with the house, but Steve was able to help immediately. I will say, we didn't get any pre-communication about check-in, etc, even though we booked about a month before arriving, but all was well once we arrived. HOUSE - The house is ALMOST exactly as pictured. When we booked, the pictures showed carpet in the bedrooms, but they both had hardwood when we arrived. Not a huge deal, but if that's important to you, it's of note. As some other reviewers noted - there are no dressers to store away clothes and items you can't hang - just something to keep in mind.AMENITIES - The house was pretty clean and well-stocked. Lots of towels and supplies were easily accessible. The water heat, and pressure were fantastic! Great for anyone who loves a good hot shower!
