Size: 2572 sq ft main house with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Option to rent an additional 200 sq ft detached studio with its own TV, fireplace, and bathroom.

Policies & What to Expect

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.
Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

☀️ Holiday 2025 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 20-January 3). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

☀️ Summer 2025 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2025, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

🐾 Pet Policy: This property is pet-friendly. Please note: a pet fee of $250 plus tax for the first pet, and $150 plus tax for second pet. Please send breed and pet description(s) for approval on your pet's stay.

Rate Policy: Prices change on a daily basis so the rates you see today may be higher or lower when booking!

Age Policy: We do not typically rent to guests under the age of 25 or large parties. Please contact us prior to booking to see how we may accommodate your group.

After booking:
We manage properties on behalf of our owners. Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. This agreement reviews our terms and conditions, house rules and policies, and what to expect of your stay. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed, payment has been made, and the guest has connected with one of our guest services agents.

In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The Verify Hub service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days.

Property Appearance:
Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

Property Responsibilities:
If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management, Replacement of keys/fobs/remotes, and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

Noise:
This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Starter Kit/Guest Essentials:
We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and co2/fire detectors.

Excellent location and accurate listing

The first thing you notice about this rental is the sheer size. Perfect for traveling with family and/or friends. The next thing you notice is the cleanliness. Everything was spotless. It had a nice clean smell and I couldn’t find a speck of dust anywhere. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, and even coffee & spices. Our small doggo and the e proximity to Ocean Beach was the reason we chose this location. It’s a very walkable community and you can’t beat the beaches. Lots of amazing places to eat and things to see. We didn’t go to Sea World or any of those types of attractions during our stay, but you could easily get there and back again in a short drive. You could hear the fireworks at night and I’m sure we could’ve seen them if we tried. When we arrived it was raining pretty heavily and there was proof leak in the downstairs bedroom (under the porch). The porch had a tarp on it and we were asked not to venture out there during our trip, which was disappointing, but we understood. There’s a lot of minor damage throughout the house, which is mainly due to age and wood rot. We weren’t affected by any of that, but I absolutely would not have stayed in the downstairs bedroom where there was clearly water coming through a light fixture. The master bedroom upstairs was where my husband and I stayed. The closet is larger than most people’s bedrooms. The en suite master bathroom was awesome. I loved the jetted tub! 10/10 location, 8/10 value, 10/10 cleanliness.

Family stay

The property was all that was promised. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Centrally located to many things. We bumped into the maintainence man and he was so polite and a wealth of knowledge. Great place if you have kids because there is so much room for them to enjoy. Would book this property again

Surprised and Disappointed

Leading up to the stay we had multiple calls and emails. Initially confirming our identity and later providing details about the property. We were expecting great things with the amount of engagement from the property manager. The location is great but this is a well worn, high traffic beach house reminiscent of the jersey shore. The house was dirty. Aside from the active spider webs, ants in the kitchen, fuzzy growth in the water reservoir of the coffee pot, there were large chunks of tortilla chips under the foot board in the kitchen, it just felt dirty and dingy. Nancy's rentals (the management company) was expeditious in their attempts to rectify our concerns and we were grateful. This seemed more like they need to do a deep audit on their house cleaning service. I had bottles and pump parts for our 3 month old that I had to wash repeatedly because if I left them to dry on the counter, they would be covered with ants by the time I returned. Several of the beds are rickety, the queen in the room with bunk beds squeaks so loudly, good luck sneaking out once your littles are asleep. We wanted to love this property and make it our San Diego regular rental but we won't be returning. Again, the property management company tried to help by sending maintenance with ant traps, and a new coffee maker. Ultimately we left early.

Christmas vacation

We had a jolly time in this rental house. The house was nice and spacious, and the neighborhood was lovely. Beautiful walks to the Sunset Cliffs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped, minus spices and flour. We even had a fire in the fireplace for Christmas and brought out dog. The rental company was very quick to respond. Thank you!

This place is awesome!! It is everything that it says it is. This was a family weekend and 6 of us stayed in the house. We had a wonderful time and the house is spacious. I would stay here again in a minute!! It won't disappoint!!

Our Daughter’s Wedding

We needed a place to stay for our daughter’s wedding and this place was perfect!! There was plenty of room for all of us. Tons of room in the kitchen for us to cook and entertain family members. Would love to stay here again!!

big house in quiet neighborhood

The house is situated in an amazing location. You are blocks away from the Sunset Cliffs park which has a trail that winds along the seaside, exposing little private beaches and tide pools. The neighborhood streets are so quiet that it feels like you are staying a residential neighborhood, not a tourist locale so you get to see the ongoings of real life in San Diego. We stayed in the upstairs master bedroom which had a deck off it which was a pleasant place for a little privacy and view. At night with the cool air blowing in the windows, it made for a good night of sleep. The kitchen is huge, and was easy to maneuver with multiple cooks working together. The yard had a lemon, avocado, and lime tree which provided a few inspirations for cooking. Overall, there was plenty of space to be together but also plenty of space to retire to when you needed some alone time. It made for a very nice stay for our multi-generational gang. Some of the other comments referring to things being more worn than the photos reflected is accurate. The carpet, rugs, and bed linens could use a refresh and the downstairs showers have black mold growing in them. Fans in the downstairs bedrooms would be nice too. That said, none of these issues would prevent me from renting here again because it was a very nice house, nice location, and delightful week in coastal California.

Overall, this property is in a good location, has some nice features, and served its purpose, but it did not live up to the photos. LOCATION: Very good! Pleasant street, and who doesn't like Point Loma? No issues with air traffic noise. KITCHEN: Spacious kitchen with all the usual appliances! Too bad most of the cupboards were bare, and some of what was in there was either chipped or needed another rinse. LIVING ROOM: Not as pictured at all. The current furnishings look outdated and cheesy. The photos make this space look much more upscale than reality. BEDROOMS and BATHS: Large, beautiful upstairs master suite with plenty of space. Other two bedrooms and baths are good, but not as attractive. One of the downstairs beds is VERY squeaky. Plenty of towels. Water reaches desired temperature quickly! BACKYARD and BALCONY: Not all the outdoor furniture in the photos were present, and what was there was dirty and not as nice. Good grass in the backyard. Not enough lighting in backyard. CLEANLINESS: Not as clean as we would have hoped. Found leaves under furniture in the living room, and as mentioned, the dishes did not feel clean. The downstairs shower had visible black mold. CHECK-IN: We like the convenience of keypad entry, but we wished the hosts had told us the location of the keypad. We thought we were at the wrong house, until we snooped around and found it. COMMUNICATION: Very prompt and friendly communication!

Felt like home

This home away from home was the perfect fit for us while we visited our son at PLNU. Grandma came, our dog came and our son left campus and spent the night with us. Lots of room, everyone had their own bathroom - even the dog with the fenced yard! The home was centrally located on Pt. Loma and the neighborhood was delightful to walk around. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location!

We recently stayed here for our Spring Break and had a wonderful time. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, walkable to the water and SO CLOSE to several awesome places to eat, shop, hit up the beach, etc. We really enjoyed the whole upstairs master suite (and jacuzzi tub!). There were some small cosmetic things (blinds missing rod to open, blinds torn up a bit in the downstairs queen room) but nothing that hindered our stay at all. I would have liked to see a few basic things in the house like spices or oils, it's definitely the most "bare" VRBO we've stayed in but again, nothing that wrecked our trip. We found the home comfortable, clean and the perfect landing place for our family's trip, we would love to stay again!

Large comfortable home

A large comfortable home as described on the web site, but the pictures were obviously taken several years ago as some parts of the property are not as pristine as the pictures would suggest. Convenient location within easy walking distance to beach and a short drive to the main shops and restaurants. Easy driving distance to SeaWorld, San Diego downtown and other popular attractions.
