Ocean view 3 bedroom 3 bath 2 car tandem garage new construction unit with air conditioning in the heart of South Mission Beach. Owner built for himself with no expense spared. 20 foot wall to ceiling glass panels that opens up completely to outside deck. 600sq ft penthouse deck with built in grill fridge outdoor dining table and sectional couch. All rooms have private dual shower bathrooms with Jacuzzi tub in master. May cost a little more but worth it. No smoking or pets. Must be 28 or older Boogie boards, beach chairs Will check in and out guest personally. Close to everything!!!! Beach,bay amusement park and beach rentals. Walk, bike, uber Great for familys and friends,not for parties. If you plan on having more then allowed people on contract this would not be the unit to rent. Check -in: 3:00pm Check out: 10:00am Door Entry: Code will be made for you at check in. Garage Parking: Back into parking garage only. Only cars and small crossover SUVs can fit. Do not attempt to park a large truck or SUV inside the garage there is plenty of street parking. All of the beach toys are located in the garage. Outside Parking: Public street parking is available in front of building and on Mission Blvd. Lock up: Make sure you lock up and don't leave anything out in the yard (toys, bikes, etc). Always keep garage door down. We recommend locking bikes in the garage, please be cautious about items left on the front patio. We are not responsible for lost/stolen items. Outside Area: The yard is yours to use. There is a hose in the garden area for washing off. Please keep the common front yard area clean. 2nd floor balcony: Each glass panel slides over the right and swings open. Feel free to open up the place and enjoy the open air. Use the doorstop to keep them from slamming shut. Close every panel before leaving and lock it. We have provided heavy plastic chairs for you to sit outside. Please leave the metal stools inside so they don't rust. Beach towels: Beach towels are in the closet with washer and dryer on the 1st floor. Please try to conserve water by only washing full loads. Shake out excess sand from your towels and clothing before washing. Trash: There is one trash can and one recycling bin on the side of the garage. Please place all refuse into these containers only. Please tie your garbage bags securely to help prevent fly and odor problems. Please recycle. Barbecue grill: Please clean the grill with the wire brush provided if you use the grill, so the next person has a clean space. Cover the grill when not using it. Rust is a huge problem at the beach. Air conditioning: There are two AC units. Please make sure they're they are both off when you leave. Safety: As you are aware, this is a four-level house. Please supervise all children at all times, especially near the stairs, windows, and on the deck and balcony. The rock garden wall are not 4 climbing. They are a facade and can easily break off. Remember: The owners home is attached to yours. No smoking. NO PETS OR VISITING PETS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND FORFEIT YOUR RENT. CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS Check out time is at 10:00 am We would like you to stay longer, but we must prepare for the next guests. We wish that you leave the house in good order. • Please strip the sheets off the bed and leave dirty linens and towels on the bedroom floor. • Make sure sink is empty, all dishes and utensils are placed in the dishwasher and start wash before you leave. • Please make sure all boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs and beach towels are inside the unit. • Please take kitchen garbage out and all trash that has accumulated during your stay. • Clean and wipe up all food from counters and tables so as not to attract ants. • Please take home or throw away all perishable food items in the refrigerator, freezer and cabinets. Our family stayed in Glen’s beautiful townhouse for over a week. I told my family several times that this was one of the nicest VRBO properties we have ever stayed at. Glen is an amazing host who gives 110% to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy. We especially enjoyed the fully furnished rooftop deck with grill for cookouts. The townhouse is within a short walk to several markets and resteraunts. You need to cross the main road to get to the ocean. But there are stop signs at the intersection so it is easy to cross. Nice to have when shepherding small children across the road. We hope to return someday. We highly recommend this townhouse if you are visiting the Mission Beach area of San Diego. ##### Matt F. The garage is narrow so be careful if you have a big SUV like we do. The kitchen has all the basic supplies we needed and the location couldn’t have been better as we were steps away from the bay and the beach, and lots of things and people to see. The house owner, Glenn, was always quick to reply and helpful. One thing to note is there are 3 bathrooms but none on the main floor where kitchen and living room is. We especially enjoyed the rooftop which always had a cool breeze and a view. Flat screens in every room and every channel on Direct TV. Wi-Fi was fast. Modern kitchen with new stainless appliances. Beds slept well. Plenty of ice from the ice maker no need to buy any. Boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels all furnished, no need to bring your own. Food market with meat counter and produce, liquor store, coffee shop, restaurants are 150 yards away. Great. Garage for parking which is a must. We loved the place, and the owner. The house was phenomenal with 3 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, an amazing glass wall that opens entirely to a patio to enjoy the fresh ocean air and view, the rooftop lounge area with a nice grill and great views, the location was perfect for walking to either the bay or the ocean and the market and many restaurants, the beach chairs/towels were nice to have, washer/dryer was nice to have, adequately stocked kitchen, and the cleanliness of the house all made our stay amazing. It is absolutely beautiful and all the amenities were great! Josh helped us set up a fire on the bay and the family loved that as well. We were about 100 ft from the bay and a short walk to the ocean! Morning walks were beautiful hittkng both the bay and ocean! It will go down as one of my favorite vacations and places to stay! The condo is sleek and modern, very updated with a European style kitchen. The main room has an amazing fold away glass door on the balcony that opens the family room to the outdoors and lets in a great ocean breeze. There is a large rooftop deck with a huge built in bbq, as well as a small fenced in front area where our kids spent lots of time playing. The condo is a few houses from the bay side which is quieter than the beach side and has plenty of open space on the sand where our children played. It's still a very quick (5 minute) walk accross to the beach side for boogie boarding, etc. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which is a plus! We did have young children in the condo and it worked great though you do need to be aware that there are a lot of stairs you'll have to be mindful of. The rooftop has perfect views of the Sea World fireworks each night. Highly recommend doing the beach bonfire - it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We were very comfortable and the house was stocked with everything we needed (e.g., computer hook-up, kitchen, etc.). The beach was quiet, just steps away from the back door of the home. The bay side is much calmer and was absolutely perfect for the elderly and preschool ages in my family. We would easily stay here again. There was plenty of room, beautiful views, and the home was bright and nicely decorated. The owner prepared a huge beach bonfire with chairs and tiki torches, oh (and s'mores) on the bay one night and we got to enjoy the fireworks display from Seaworld, which was the icing on the cake. This was our first time in years staying in a vacation rental instead of a hotel. My wife is a clean freak and after a few bad experiences we almost wrote it off for good. We looked around for awhile and received a prompt response from Josh. He was very helpful answering questions. We checked in Saturday morning and the place was not only gorgeous and neat, but extremely clean. We felt at home at once and were immediately glad we got out of the sterile environments of hotels. We saved hundreds of dollars in discounted tickets from Josh and got to experience a world class beach bonfire experience. We will definitely be staying here again next spring!
