San Diego Surf Camp #6 is a great 1 bedroom just 100 ft from the Pacific and a 5 minute walk to the sand! It features 1 luxurious queen bed, a deluxe air mattress, a comfortable couch, a cozy kitchen, a full bath, 1 off-street parking space, HD TV in every room, blazing fast WIFI, and access to our shared large courtyard with BBQ. This is the ideal property to come and enjoy the beach. We are not a party house. That's not our vibe. Come and Enjoy a mellow and wonderful time! It's cute. It's quirky. It feels like a camp, but it's 100ft to the beach and in the middle of everything Ocean Beach and San Diego have to offer. Within 2 blocks of restaurants, bars, shops, yoga studios, fishing, and surfing. Take advantage of our kitchen for meals, or venture out and sample some awesome San Diego restaurants during your stay here! Start the morning off right with some coffee in the kitchen, or pick up coffee at one of the numerous neighborhood coffee stands and walk two blocks to the beach for a stroll as you watch the surf. We are blocks from some of San Diego's most iconic beach spots. Have a hamburger at Hodad's or get a scoop of ice cream between two flavored freshly made mini-waffles at Lighthouse. Also, eating at the quirky restaurant way out at the end of the Ocean Beach Pier is something that shouldn't be missed. Of course, there is a BBQ grill, and it's always a good time to cook out. After lunch, head back home and take a nap or relax on the deck. If you like shopping, you are virtually 10-20 minutes from any destination in the greater San Diego Metro area. I would suggest starting with the cool little shops a couple blocks away on Newport Ave for the original artwork. At night, you have a number of really incredible options. On one of the nights of your stay, you have to walk down the beach and have a bonfire in one of the beach fire pits. It's an absolute imperative... a must do beach experience. The smell and sound of the ocean, the feel of the sand, the smell of the fire, the taste of the s'mores...... We also have the restaurant Bo Beaujust a couple blocks away for a romantic dinner. Try the lobster risotto. ...and there are so many other great restaurants within walking distance: Kaiserhoff, OB Noodle House, etc For Touristy stuff... well, the beach is two blocks away. Step out on the sidewalk and look to your left. It's that blue thing where the land ends. SeaWorld is a five minute drive. The World Famous San Diego Zoo is a ten minute drive away. Disneyland is a ninety minute drive. We only rent entire apartments. The apartment is all yours. Please remember that you will be staying in a home, not a hotel. Therefore, we ask that you treat our space with the same respect you would show your own. If you need anything before, after or during your stay, we are just a text, call or email away. Our home has an electronic lock on the door. The codes needed to enter the property are available 1 hour prior to check-in. Ocean Beach is San Diego's most authentic beach community. We are probably best described as bohemian. Everyone is welcome. It's very free-spirited with just a touch of quirky. Reserved parking in back. Nice private fence around property. Quiet neighborhood with cool breeze blowing at night. Shops and dinning within two for blocks. At the end of the street is a great place to watch the sunset over the Pacific, with stairs down to a tide-pool area and a place to walk the beach. We love OB and this place was exactly what we were looking for, close to Newport Ave and Sunset Cliffs. The unit was cute and tidy in a very classic SoCal style apartment building, turned vacation rental. Doug, the property manager, was very responsive and very helpful when I informed him that our hour long flight from San Francisco was delayed five hours, which could have affected our check-in time. The included parking space was great, as OB is well located to explore all of San Diego. We will stay here again. ##### Kim S. Totally adequate for 1 to 2 people to stay comfortably. I appreciated the two standing fans and two televisions. The kitchen was well equipped and had some basic condiments and coffee supplies which was very nice. The outdoor space for number 6 was just a small porch with a chair. There was a chair to take with me to the beach, which was very nice. It seems like the outdoor space is for the lower unit, which was number three. Parking was very good, and I appreciated the locked gate to get into the units. These units are very close together, and I had the windows open for coolness, which led me to hear a lot of noises. ##### Hannah S.
