Ramada should be ashamed that their name is attached to such a dilapidated hotel. This building is deceiving. The lobby is modernized enough and we were welcomed by a friendly host. But the positives stop there. Prepare yourself to be transported back to the 90’s, with no updates since! When we got to our room, the smell was overwhelming: musty, stale weirdly-scented air. (I kept the window open because of this.) All of the furniture (mDF tv stand, table) was so worn they had lost their colour on the chipped-away edges. The tap in the shower constantly dripped and was so difficult to turn on that I feared it would snap off the wall when attempting to turn the knob. The shower head was dangling and needed to be reattached. Window ledges were water-logged and noticeably misshapen and de-laminated. The wallpaper in the bathroom was STAPLED on in several places as a quick repair, and even the staples were rusted! One corner of the Sheetrock was completely missing. The towel rack was hanging by 2 screws. And on top of the failed attempt at upkeep in this room, the room was so tiny we had the turn sideways to pass anyone between the bed and the wall. There is no space in these rooms! We were stepping over suitcases because there was literally no storage. We were not excited or comfortable at this hotel and we were happy to leave as soon as we could after only 1 night. Ramada, you can do better. We will not be back.
