Summer (Memorial Day–Labor Day): 5 night minimum. No arrivals on Independence Day (July 4). Holidays: 5 night minimum. There are no arrivals on Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day. • Check-In/Out: Check-in is 3 p.m. (4 p.m. in summer). Check-out is 11 a.m. • Group Travel: We manage multiple units in this building. Please inquire if you need more space for a larger family or group. • Property Note: This is a privately owned vacation home. Furnishings and decor may occasionally be updated and differ slightly from the photos. • Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted. • Rate Policy: Rates fluctuate daily. It is equipped with electric wall heaters for cooler evenings and enjoys a wonderful ocean breeze. • Laundry: Coin-operated laundry machines are conveniently located down the hall from the unit for your use. • Beach Gear Provided: We provide a variety of beach accessories, including 4 adult chairs, 1 child’s chair with an umbrella, a large umbrella, 2 boogie boards, 2 paddleboards, and 4 flotation vests (2 adult, 2 child). • Starter Kit: We provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and detergents. All linens, bath towels, and beach towels are also included. • Traveling with Children: Baby equipment, including a pack ‘n play, high chair, and crib, is available to rent for your convenience. Please inquire for details. We recommend a car for navigating San Diego, but public transportation is just a couple blocks away. If you\`re planning to stay put in Pacific Beach, there is no need for cars! What really took our breath away were the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from the fourth-floor floor-to-ceiling glass doors—absolutely stunning!Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was so peaceful and soothing, we didn’t even feel the need to turn on the TV. The other couple we were with usually stay in downtown SD but even they enjoyed this location. The condo is exactly as described in the listing. It was clean and well stocked. The only down side is the need for key fobs to get in the parking garage and to use the elevators. You would think that once you’re in the garage (using the fob to open the locked gate) that should be enough to gain entrance to the building. A small inconvenience for sure. ##### Jim J. The location is great with lots of restaurants within walking distance. It is 15-20 minutes from everything in San Diego and it was nice to be a bit away from mission beach craziness. The pool is just across the alley down the street a bit but it wasn’t a problem with our three kids under 12 and it was a nice alternative to the beach. The beach was great. Can be a bit crowded but still found spots late in the day. Also appreciated the beach accessories provided (boogie boards, chairs, sand toys). The view is amazing and all my wife and I wanted to do was sit in the chairs overlooking the beach ocean. We slept with the ocean waves each night! The condo was clean, beds were comfortable and well equipped. We liked the underground parking and building security too. The communication with Nancy’s Vacation Rentals was top notch. They provide a nice orientation guide with all the info and were always very quick to respond to questions we had via email and text. The communication with the property manger's was seamless and provided us with dining recommendations when requested. Getting to the property from the airport only took about 20 minutes. Check in was very easy and allowed us to immediately start enjoying the condo, it's amenities and the beach. The rooftop area was a nice way to look over the city at night, while watching the constant flow of airplanes flying out of the airport. There are a lot of dining and drinking options nearby and we always felt safe walking in the neighborhood at night. It seemed like whenever we wanted to go somewhere that wasn't within walking distance (Zoo, LaJolla Cove, Old Towne Trolley Tour, etc) it was just a 15-20 minute drive. So convenient! Only thing we didn't realize was that the pool was not on-site. However it is just one lot away, so it wasn't anything that would make us downgrade our rating. You can't beat the views looking down towards the pier or north to LaJolla, since it is the tallest building on the beach. We would definitely stay again! ##### Matt F. Gorgeous view through floor to ceiling windows, with three that would slide open to allow in the sea breeze. Beautifully decorated and supplied. EVERYTHING was new, from the kitchen dishes/flatware/gadgets to the linens and furniture. The beds were heavenly - not to soft or hard. We didn't have a car but could easily walk to restaurants and shops. The closest grocery store was within a half mile but carrying large loads was a bit of an issue. Future guests may want to inquire about the upcoming plumbing project that started on our last day. We received a message that our water would be cut off from 9-5 the last day. Fortunately for us, it was never actually cut off. However, it is a building-wide project that looks like it will have an impact on residents and visitors for months. They seem to have a schedule that shows the dates each unit will be impacted. We had some issues with luggage storage prior to check-in, but we were eventually able to get help. ##### Linda W. Many eateries and shops are well within walking distance. The only real negatives are few but worth mentioning for fellow travellers. The pull-out bed in the living room sofa is extremely uncomfortable, so much so that the person in our group who pulled that straw just slept on it as a couch. Some folks might also appreciate knowing that it is a challenge to get complete privacy in the master bedroom as there is a gap bewteen the shades. This is nobody's fault, but it is certainly something to consider, especially since the room opens to the main living space. Lastly, be mindful that while the condo is fully stocked, it is just stocked. There is not a lot of extra of anything such as pillows, blankets, and kitchenware. All is nice and in good order, but there really is just enough. This is not a complaint, rather an observation for those who truly do have 8 people in their group. All in all, we would definitely stay at this location again. The heated pool was an added benefit to an already lovely spot and a beautiful condo. ##### Mark M. The property is exactly as advertised and the views are absolutely stunning—being in the corner unit with wraparound windows was a game changer.The condo was spotless and worked perfectly for our family of four. With one king bed and two queens, there was more than enough space without needing the pull-out sofa (though I could see it feeling a bit tight if used). The parking spot was very spacious and easy to access, which isn’t always the case in beachfront properties. Laundry isn’t free, but it’s conveniently located, so no complaints there.When they say the beach is “minutes away,” they mean it—our toes were in the sand in about two minutes! Restaurants and shops are close as well (5–15 minute walk), with our favorite being Hideaway for brunch, food, and drinks—just an 8-minute walk away, and we went several times.We were a little nervous about there being no AC, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The weather was in the low 80s during our stay, and with the windows open and fans on, we were always comfortable. In fact, a couple of nights got cool enough that we turned the fans off.The only area that could use improvement is the beach accessories. The chairs really need to be replaced—they’re not true beach chairs and were uncomfortable.
