Carpet and shower heads in the rooms needs to be changed and an elevator would’ve been nice. The receptionist ladies were confused the whole time and wouldn’t give me an ocean view room as I requested but gave it to someone else that did not have a reservation that came after me. Very upsetting! Everything else was amazing!

I'm from Oceanside, Ca. This side of the harbor reminds me of the old sleep military town Oceanside. Before all the buildings popped up, when there was actual beach sand. I appreciate this area. Makes me feel at home. My husband and I will stay at the Oceanside Marina Suites again!!!! THANK YOU

The only downside was the stairs to get up to the lobby. I didn’t see an elevator and carried my bags up the 2 flights of steep stairs with my toddler by myself.

The walls (floors/ceilings) are paper thin from first floor to second floor ... the people above me were playing loud music till early in the morning, were doing you know what very loudly, and sounded like they were having a party!!! They reallly should have built those more sound proof. Everything else was good, except long walk if you don't want to take the stairs ... but wow the noise! Not good.

Curtains did not block light. Windows were not sealed. Sound and cold wind blew in. Stupid noisy. Shower had a rubber drain cover to block sewer gas from entering bathroom as apparently there was no P trap. Front door was unsecure. Broken door frame showed evidence of prior intrusion. 1/2 inch gap at bottom of door allowed light, sound and wind to enter room. Refrigerator was noisy and freezer section was coated with 2 inches of frost. Surprised at the $15 parking fee that Expedia didn't identify. High water flow toilet. Workers and their kids had no respect for being quiet while they walked the halls and clustered in the parking area. The location is great, the counter people are excellent and fun. The place has potential, its just a mess right now. Not even hot mess. Makes rundown Tijuana hotels look good!

Location is great. Only problem is that you could end up with a unit that has a shared outdoor area and/or no view.

Great! The suites are in a corner just south of Camp Pendelton. Reveille in the morning at 8:0! Sea lions all night, boats coming and going, surf just beyond the jetty, and dolphins, pelicans, ospreys, gulls going by in the bay. The Oceanside Gril serves up a wonderful dinner, and a kitchen for breakfast.

Romantic Getaway
Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. the suite is like an apartment, everything you need. Not a fancy Highrise, but close to water, small, quaint, the desk hosts are sweet and wonderful, the mornings are amazing, looking over the water on the patio with a cup of coffee, one if not my favorite getaways with my man.

Beautiful location.
The room was updated and comfortable, except for the carpet. It needs replacing. The only issue was having to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. It was very inconvenient and difficult.
