It is located on a quiet residential street but still a 2-minute, half-block walk, to the well-sized convenience Parkside Food supermarket, the Thorn Street Brewery, nightly gourmet Food Trucks, Grand Ole BBQ y Asado, Santos Coffee House and a hairdresser. A quick four blocks walk to Number 2 bus line going south along 30th Street to downtown, or South Park, or north to the North Park restaurants. You can also walk 8 minutes to 30th Street and Upas for a large selection of restaurants and entertainment. The San Diego Zoo is 1.7 miles away in beautiful Balboa Park, site of the 1915 Panama-California Exposition, Balboa Park now home to the Natural History Museum, San Diego Museum of Art and many other historical attractions. A family member is available for Japanese speakers. Parking is easy at the house with “off street” parking in the front driveway for two vehicles, and street parking is always available.
