We arrived in SD a little earlier than we had planned and the host was so accommodating and let us check in early. The cottage has a great outdoor living space with plenty of seating and a grill. The kitchen had everything you would need which was nice. The house also had plenty of bath towels and more than enough beach towels. We didn’t have any small kids but the house had plenty of toys and activities for them if you do. My adult children loved the boogie boards and beach chairs not to mention the paddle board available and bikes!! So many options for outdoor activities was awesome. The location was really close to restaurants and a couple mini marts - walking distance for sure. We throughly enjoyed our stay! ##### michael s. It is also close so restaurants, coffee shops, beach rentals, etc. The room with the bunk beds were perfect for my daughters and they enjoyed all the toys that were available for them to play with. The street is very quiet at night even on the weekends which was a plus. We used their boogie boards for swimming but they also had beach chairs and paddle boards. This was, hands down, the best beach house our family has vacationed at in San Diego!! While the house is small, the outdoor spaces (front patio and a more private backyard) offer additional space. We traveled with our young children (ages 2 and 5) and the house has plenty of children’s toys and books to keep kiddos entertained. We loved our time at this cozy cottage.
