PB Getaway Parking Summary: You'll have private use of the entire, comfortable 2bd/2 ba apartment located within a 30 unit community less than a block from one of the most desired beaches in beautiful and fun Pacific Beach San Diego! Views of the ocean out the property's courtyard, you're practically staying at the beach. A hub of some of San Diego's best restaurants, nightlife, and shopping on Garnet Ave are an approximate quarter mile stroll away via the beachfront boardwalk. The Space: This is a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment. The bed configuration is 1 queen bed (1bd) 1 queen bed (2nd bedroom), and we have an inflatable floor mattress to sleep extra guests. The space has renovated finishes with granite countertops, nice, stainless steel appliances, and everything that you need for a stay that feels like home. Plus, the rare amenity that you'll have two full bathrooms - one en suite off the master bedroom! And you'll have one exclusive carport parking space for your use during your stay! Guest Access: You will have entire, private access to the space within the apartment during your stay. This is a community of 29 other residences. Shared with the community are all common areas in the courtyard and laundry is shared, coin operated laundry room. The Neighborhood: Our Pacific Beach listing puts you right in the heart of the action. Whether you're a surfer eager to catch the perfect wave, a foodie craving the eclectic flavors of beachside eateries, or a nightlife enthusiast ready to dance the night away, this neighborhood has something for everyone. Explore the lively Garnet Avenue lined with trendy shops, cafes, and bars, or unwind at the iconic Crystal Pier. If you achieve the arguably impossible task of running out of things to do in Pacific Beach, La Jolla is just to the north and Mission Beach is just to the south. Downtown San Diego, The Gaslamp District, Little Italy, Convention Center, Seaport Village, and the Int'l Airport are all approximately only 20 minutes away. Getting Around: There are Trader Joe's, Sprouts Farmer's Market, and a Vons in town for all your grocery needs. Most errands can be accomplished on foot. Once you're in, most everything can be reached on foot, and major San Diego attractions are a short drive or Uber away. Other Things to Note: Being that we're located within a 30 unit residential community, you'll get to live like a local while you're here. For this, it's VERY important that you agree to be a good neighbor and treat it as if it were your own. Shared areas with the community are are maintained and operated by the building, and we're unfortunately unable to guarantee their availability during your stay. If available, these are courtyard area, the communal BBQ, communal outdoor seating area, and the Hot Tub Jacuzzi. There is not Air Conditioning inside the unit, but we are right next to the beach! TV in the living room is s Roku smart TV. There is not air conditioning inside the unit, but with windows, fans, and the ocean breeze, it tends to stay moderately cool. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials like pots, pans, and utensils. However, we DO NOT provide cooking oil, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or laundry detergent. Washer and dryer are shared within the community and are coin operated. However, I asked if we could just use the parking spot until the unit was ready and they told us to not even come to the property until check in time. I was a bit surprised to hear that response. I’m accustom to hosts allowing us access to the parking spot (if available). Once inside it’s pretty bare bones and not a lot of creature comforts. No extra bedding or towels. Only a sheet was left for the air mattress. When I inquired about a blanket the hosts did not initially offer any solution. They just said “We provide an initial supply of linens, including bedding for the air mattress. Please check the closet and dresser drawers for additional linens.“ I had already done that and let them know again there was only a sheet. At 10:30pm they called, but we were already asleep. The next morning I was given the code to the linen cabinet able and was able to get a blanket. It was frustrating that took so long to accomplish.Large cobwebs in the corners Cabinets in bathrooms were decaying and falling apart Stove and knives in kitchen were rusted. Screens windows were broken and some were missing all together. We’ve stayed in a lot of places in PB, I would research other options first unless bargain price ##### Sarah A. We were able to walk down to the beach multiple times a day. Everything you might need is within walking distance. We rented a car so it was nice to have a dedicated parking spot. The complimentary coffee and creamer in the fridge was a very thoughtful detail. The place also included beach chairs and boards for the beach which is so nice and thoughful. The beds were very comfortable. You can walk to the beack, restaurants, bars and so many coffee shops. I was thrilled to return to Pacific Beach and to discover this place in the neighborhood I know so well from 20 years of vacationing on the same block! Everything, and I mean everything, you want or need is within walking distance. The hosts were 100% responsive to all of my requests, typically within minutes. It's the perfect size for a couple. We loved having access to the hot tub especially after a long day of walking the boardwalk. It would have been nice to have more towels on the unit since they wouldn't dry after showing . There were also times when the hot water wouldn't come on at all for wuite a while in the shower. It was just as listed. We had everything we needed. Easy walking to restaurants. I recommend this location and would book it again. They say that they are 100% here to help, and that is the truth! We're from AZ, and we didn't adjust for the time difference, so we arrived in PB an hour early. A quick call to Cody, and he graciously agreed to let us check in an hour early on Thanksgiving day! Much appreciated after a long drive. We will be back! ##### Tom C. I decided to try to get a room with a nice location and invite my parents. It was perfect for us. The kitchen was fully stocked; plenty of space. Two bathrooms was not necessary, but very nice. There was some trouble with the internet, but the host was very responsive with a solution and we did not use the internet anyways. ##### Penny B. The host was quick in responding to questions, and we were fortunate enough to check in early. The location was amazing. It was walking distance to so many places. However, those were the only good things about this listing. Everything outside and away from the apt. was nice. Inside was a different story. The pictures and reality were very different. The furnitures in the pictures are completely different from the furnitures in the pictures. When we walked into the apt., there was a bad/musty odor like the carpets needed a deep deep cleaning. I just felt dirty and uncomfortable, which is very unfortunate. I was looking forward to staying in a nice clean place. It just didn’t what I had hoped. ##### doanh w. Séjour de 2 nuits en août 2024
