Step outside the front door and you'll be just steps away from great local restaurants, cafe's, & coffee shops - making this home the perfect launch pad for any San Diego adventure. Every Coast to Cactus home comes stocked with all the basics you will need to feel right at home. We provide: High speed Wifi, Smart TV's with streaming capabilities, nicely appointed kitchens, complimentary coffee, bath essentials, and premium sheets, linens and towels. You'll also find a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Living Room Two plush sofas and a flat screen tv with streaming services. Kitchen For those who like to cook, the kitchen has modern appliances including: dishwasher, fridge, blender, stove top, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils. Bathrooms One full bathroom stocked with items including: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and fresh towels. Rental Agreement & Guest Screening: By moving forward with this reservation, a rental agreement must be signed by the primary guest. You give permission to the property manager to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm the reservation. Verification requires uploading a valid ID, Drivers License, or Passport, along with a self photo of the primary reservation holder. Confirmed reservations are conditional and may be cancelled pending verification results. 2\. Check-in is at 4 pm. Check-out time is any time before 11 am. You're welcome to request an early check in or late checkout, subject to availability. We are unable to confirm availability until 24 hours prior to arrival or departure. 3\. Parties, events, or excessive noise are not allowed. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 9PM-9AM. Violations after our initial warning may result in your removal from the property. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a vacation destination, it's home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and peaceful environment. 4\. We do not allow smoking of any kind anywhere on the premises; including the use of e-cigarettes and marijuana. Those found in violation will incur a $250 cleaning fee. 5\. Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises, unless with written permission from your host. 6\. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events. 7\. We understand accidents happen, so if there is any accidental or intentional damage caused to the home, please let us know prior to your departure. 8\. This property may have video surveillance in outdoor public spaces to ensure the safety and security of all guests. There are no cameras inside the home. Noise meters may also be present in and around the property to ensure quiet hours are followed. We will only receive a notification of a noise event if the noise decibel threshold is exceeded. Please try to keep the fun at a respectful decibel level during the day, but at night we ask for no loud noises after 9 pm — if this sounds like something that will not work for your group, our property might not be the right one for you. 9\. Guests are prohibited from carrying or otherwise possessing a firearm at any time on property grounds, including carrying firearms in an open or concealed manner. This policy applies to all types of firearms. 10\. Occupancy is limited to the number of guests you indicate on your reservation. Any additional guests or visitors must be approved by your host. 11\. Any items left behind can be sent back for a handling fee of $25 plus the cost to ship and must be prepared before the item will be sent. 12\. Pros: great location within easy drive from the airport. Our destinations were the zoo and the aquarium and both were very easy to access. Point Loma is beautiful and Shelter island is great for kids (playground! Food!) The house had a well supplied kitchen for cooking. Bedrooms were large, and living room had comfortable couches for lounging. Backyard dining table was lovely. Cons: driveway is steep and narrow and you must back in, unless you want to back out onto a busy road. Street parking is tough because there is no spot directly in front of the house because of a blind turn. House has one tall, unsecured bookshelf that a baby or toddler can easily topple. Backyard grass is patchy and not great for crawlers. Overall the location is very convenient and the house is spacious. We had our 1.5 year old with us and the house was perfect for him with a little backyard and walking distance to the water where he could look at the boats. The beds/sheets/towels were very clean, but I gave this property 3 stars overall because the floors were terribly dirty. Our toddler's feet were black after running around and we all ended up having to wear socks when walking around the house, which were also black by the end of the trip. I brought this up to the property management company and even asked for a refund for our cleaning fee, but all I got was "sorry, we'll let the owners know," which was a little disappointing. We traveled with our 2 kids, ages 9 and 10 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great because you can WALK to get coffee, get your nails done (check out iPolish down the street) and walk to the marina. We drive an enormous SUV and we were worried about parking. (Parking can be a deal breaker for us) This home is located on a main street BUT we couldn't hear any traffic at all from within the house. It's set back from the street and higher than the street level. The front yard is enclosed, so it's very private. Overnight, we parked in the driveway (bit of a tight squeeze but no biggie) and during the day, we parked on the street which had various open spaces - just out of convenience. This home has large bedrooms, and it was immaculately clean The host was easy to get a hold of and very accommodating as we had a few questions leading up to our trip. We only wish he had stayed longer so as to check out Liberty Station (which we visited on our last day.. minutes away); as well as other nearby shops, including a chocolatier that we drove past and didn't get a chance to stop at!
