The location was just a short drive away, allowing us to witness and celebrate this significant achievement. It is also conveniently close to the airport, the zoo, Old Town, and various other sightseeing spots.Finding the place was a bit challenging since it is tucked away from the main road, but the directions provided by Erik and Kelsi were very accurate. The property was clean and spacious, with enough beds for everyone. We did encounter a minor issue with the bathroom, but Erik responded quickly. The only suggestion I have for your guest book is to include information about where the light for the upstairs shower is located; we only discovered it on our last day. Additionally, providing a broom would be helpful so that we could sweep the floor before leaving. Other than that, I give this place a 10 and highly recommend staying here on your next trip to San Diego! ##### Tammy L. We had a great stay at this location but had some things break while we were there which were out of our control. Beware things are not properly secured and could cause bodily harm. We had multiple issues. First the bottom downstairs mirror fell off the wall. It was not tightly secured which could have hurt someone. It is not bolted to a stud and hanging by a thread. This was an hour into our visit. Pictures were sent and someone came to fix it. The next day a shelf fell in the bunk room because the latch was previously broken. No one was in the room, the latch was found on top of the shelf. Pictures were sent of both the broken table and the latch sitting on the top of the shelf. Was told by owner they would check on it when we checked out. I have tried to reach out to owners and they have chosen to ignore me. I have filed a complaint with VRBO since they have charged us unfairly $100\. We also found a bloody palmprint on the doorframe of one of the downstairs bedrooms. Needless to say, we will not be renting here again when visiting San Diego. ##### Angie B. My only complaint would be that the house felt a little dirty, stains on the bed spreads, stains on the dining room table cover, stains on the mattress covers and dirty mats in the bathrooms. I also wished there was more comfortable seating on the deck and drawers for clothes as opposed to just a closets in the rooms. ##### David G. It’s also great for a group of 8-10\. There are 4 rooms with beds (one has a bunk bed). There are parking spots for 2 cars tandem. The house is nicely appointed with comfy beds, sofas and TVs. There is a decent kitchen and large dining table. From upstairs you can see part of the runway and Harbor. It’s a lively but slightly obscured views. Parking for two cars nose to tail out front. The location is a good walk or short drive to Balboa Park, the harbour, airport and city center. A couple of things to note... You definitely can hear planes landing and taking off as well as the train line and highway (all close). Even with all windows shut we were kept up by noise from the house which is a few feet behind (another Airbnb I think).
