Fox Canyon Hideaway-San Diego

Our home has been host to traveling nurses and doctors since we began this adventure a few years ago. Now it's time to share our hidden hideaway with other travelers. Come enjoy this quiet open space while visiting "America's Finest City." The distance from the freeway to our cul-de-sac is quirky, but we are off the beaten path, and a close skip to renowned breweries, missions, universities and several other points of interest.

Centrally located
We had planned a trip to Seawirld San Diego for 2 days. Decided to add the Midway Museum in our first day. Great location for Seaworld and Downtown activities. The house was just as advertised, the Host brought over a propane cylinder right away when we had noticed that the existing one was empty. She was very helpful with ideas to do and the house cooled quickly in the early evening by just opening windows. Had anexcellent time. With look up this listing again on any return trips to San Diego.

Perfect stay
We had a great time! Would come again! The house was lovely, well-appointed, and very comfortable. And our host was gracious, welcoming, and attentive, even ready with suggestions for a quirky afternoon site to visit. The house was stocked with all we needed and more - Genina thought of everything! A great place to stay!

Lovely home
Loved the home, I came with four friends to celebrate my birthday and there was more than enough room. We really enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. Nothing in the city is more than 15 minutes away, so the location was also a plus. Owners were super easy to communicate with and gave us a great restaurant recommendation to celebrate my birthday.

Family Friendly Retreat
A group of bridesmaids stayed here for the week of my sister’s wedding. We had the most wonderful time. Everything we needed down to shampoo, beach towels, and an iron was provided, and more! The beds were extremely comfortable and the whole house was cozy. We loved the vintage charm of the decor that met with the modern features. I would definitely recommend this stay for large groups!

Quiet getaway
The home was tucked away in a cul de sac so we had no traffic driving by. The owner has thought of everything you may need. Even games in the garage including items to take to the beach. We could have just brought our clothes. It was beautifully decorated and very spacious. We cooked in the home since dining out is crazy expensive. Loved that it was gas cooking just like home. Located close to major highway so we had no problems getting around. We definitely would stay again. Highly recommended.

Great Home away from home
The Home has everything you need to have a great time! Location is very convenient to everything San Diego have to offer. The property is very clean and has a garage set up as a game room, with a ping pong table. I would definitely stay there again!!!! and would recommend it to everyone.

Comfortable and close!
Genina was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We asked if we could check in early and it worked out. The property is spacious and has everything you need to be comfortable. It’s close to absolutely everything and we never had to drive too far to get to where we wanted to go. Genina also offered plenty of suggestions and answered all questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend staying here!
