Détente dans un lieu très agréable avec deux très belles piscines dont une pour faire des longueurs et l autre plus pour la baignade familiale.

Not only was the service horrible, for example, I had trouble finding an employee many times. The worst part is the hotel charged me double by accident, and when I looked at my card and noticed the charge I called the hotel. The hotel responded by saying, “Oh, our mistake. Contact your bank. There is nothing we can do about it.” I will not be booking with the Fairmount again.

This was a great family getaway for a birthday celebration. The whole family had a fantastic time, including activities such as horseback riding, trail exploration, archery, and enjoying the kids’ club and all the amenities. It’s a wonderfully relaxing location, and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful property with first class service. The golf course is awesome. The restaurants are amazing and the Spa is one of the best in San Diego.
Great place for families or couples wanting to getaway.
15 min away from Del Mar beach for more shopping and dinning.

perfect golf amenities, nice and helpful staff at dining and vale. generally very clean.
still selling internet packages a high price hotel, and at the rooms phone not receiving signal well, so it was challenging to communicate with the world.
we stayed for 4 nights, we wanted to leave only 1 hour late on the day we were going to check out, but they wanted a high price for that hour.

Unexpected poor dinner service - negative imprint.
Very elegant hotel with all of the 5 star amenities expected. Tasty food, wonderful pool and service, and a great spa experience.
We have had many wonderful meals at the Amaya over the years, and our server - Vladimir- is possibly the best in the business. However our big meal, not serviced by Vladimir- where we had 9 guests- had the most awful service. It was about what they couldn’t or wouldn’t do instead of what could be done. If you go to the Amaya, keep your fingers crossed that you have an experienced and professional server or your better off getting in-n-out.

We thought the staff was excellent. Kudos to your HR department for exceptional hiring and training! Everyone we encountered was helpful, personable and obviously happy at their job.
We ate 3x at the Amaya - top-notch cuisine - much better than any other hotel restaurants (non-Fairmont) we have experienced.
We will certainly return. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
