We loved our stay at the hotel! The front staff was amazing. She even helped us map out where we would go for dinner etc. The evening was lovely and the hot tub was warm and bubbly! The breakfast was better than expected with all we could have wanted. We will stay there again at the end of our trip and think of them again if we are ever in San Diego.

Bad experience. Are toilet didnt work. We asked to get fix while we left on are teip. Came back about 5pm toilet was not fixed. We had to call eoom service again.then while they cleaned are room they took my son's baby blaket probably tangle inside the sheets. We ask room service they said they well check laundy and get back to us befor 9pm never heard back.so in the morning before check out we ask again ans supposedly they have not seen anything.we looked on every corner in the room.we didn't fine it so to us this was bad experience. Also never been on a hotel that we have to pay 30 dollars a night for parking.

It is a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy San Diego both old town and downtown. The breakfast they offer is so convenient! The concierge were super friendly! And sleeping was quiet and relaxing! Definitely coming back!

I really enjoyed my stay in Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel. The breakfast was excellent to start my day and jacuzzi was relaxing to end my day!!! Would definitely stay here again!

The location of the property was centrally located. Easy to get to. Hotel staff at check-in needs to have some training on what “customer service” is. Parking was not included, it was $30. A night to park in their parking garage. The hallway that our rooms were in smelled like urine.

We chose the Fairfield in Old Town for two reasons - it offered a free breakfast and was within easy walking distance to the Old Town Trolly. No regrets whatsoever, we enjoyed our 5 night stay. Although the hotel is dated, it was in a safe area, premises was very clean, bed was comfortable, front staff were friendly and helpful and no issues with bathroom/hot water at all. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. The overall atmosphere was happy and cheerful, smiling faces everywhere. We would definitely stay there again.

I did not like paying $30 for parking so we parked ik the strreet and pray our car was safe in the morning. The free breakfast buffet is good!

Parking - Hotel parking is Paid (Too expensive). Street parking is hard to find on weekend nights. Hotel is an old building, if you are staying in ground floor you will every step from the higher floors. Hotel staff was good other than the supervisor lady. May be it was not a good day for her, but our interaction was not good. Room selection- All rooms are small, not like other Marriotts. Make sure you check the room before taking it, my room window was facing a wall, Like what a wall view! Breakfast is free but indoor sitting area is very tight. Marriott is raising prices for all the properties but the facilities and experience are not upto it.

Property was very nice, with an excellent location in the middle of old town SD. Parking was a challenge with a small structure under the hotel. Rooms were dated and dirty with some "mystery stains" on the bedding. Both queen beds in the room we're incredibly broken down to the point we woke up with back aches. Something above or below our room made a horrendous noise, not worse than an ice machine or elevator, that forced vibrated the whole room and made it very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. All and all, much better offerings near by and I will not being staying there again.

Great place to stay in Old Town San Diego!
Great location close to restaurants and shops in the Old Town area of San Diego. Family enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi that has ample lighting for an evening swim. As with other Fairfield Inns, this hotel has a nice complimentary breakfast bar in the mornings.

Bathroom not clean...
Check in was quick and easy. As we were going to our roon, there was obvious odor in the hallway. Luckily, we were not in that area. We started to settle in. My son went to the bathroom and found a large hairball in the toilet. I called for someone to clean the bathroom. Housekeeping was already gone. They did offer us a different room, but we were tired and stayed. They comped us parking. The next morning I went to the front desk to make sure we were getting free parking for this. They also said we would get our room cleaned first. We returned to our room around 3:30pm and it was not cleaned yet.

The property is okay, however I could barely sleep because it was so nosey. Their rooms are in a hallway and on either end they have large doors leading outside that slam every time people go in or out.
