Admire the vista just as much from one of the many balconies, or take a dip in the heated saltwater pool. This remodeled 1926 craftsman home features water views from almost every room of the house! Three separate balconies, including a private balcony off the primary suite with sit-down water views. Upstairs includes one large open living space surrounded with windows and panoramic views of the bay, ocean, downtown skyline, mountains and Mexico. Private saltwater pool that can be heated upon request. Outdoor patio dining area with Weber gas BBQ grill and sitting area with downtown and water views. A 3rd bathroom is down by the pool off the laundry room. Very walkable - only 4 blocks to the water and restaurants/shops. Quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Please contact us before you book with information on who will be staying in the house and the purpose of your trip. We require verified ID before booking. We also require prior notification of any visitors you may have while at the house. Guests will have access to the whole house except the basement storage area. Guests may use the 1+ car detached garage for parking as well (SUVs or large vehicles will not fit and exceed the weight limit of the garage floor). I will be available 24/7 via the app This vintage house is located high on a hill on a safe, quiet street. Ideal for families. The waterfront is only four blocks from the house, with restaurants and coffee shops within a short walking distance. It's only a few miles to the Zoo, Sea World, and downtown. A quick 2 mile drive over the hill to Ocean Beach. Restaurants, shops and the water are a short walk away (about 4 blocks). Central location for driving to popular destination points. Quiet upscale neighborhood. 4 blocks to the water, restaurants and sport fishing. Short drive to downtown and Gaslamp, close to beaches, Seaworld and the zoo. Pool heat: There is no additional charge to heat the pool May through October, but we do not turn it on by default and you must notify us in advance if you are requesting pool heat. We charge a pool heat fee for bookings between November through April to heat the pool to 80 degrees. The fee is $650 for the first 3 nights then $80 per each additional day of your booking. We need at least 3 days notice before your check in if you'd like pool heat. \-Please contact us before you book with information on who will be staying in the house and the purpose of your trip. This is a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood for relaxing. \- The house sleeps 6 guests maximum. This rental agreement includes a Zero Tolerance Policy for noise disturbances, over-occupancy or house parties. Violations will result in fines up to three (3) times the rental amount, rent and deposit forfeiture and immediate termination of occupancy with no refunds. All rates are subject to change until reservation has been finalized. We do not offer refunds unless the home is determined to be uninhabitable. Guest agrees to read and abide by the Terms of this agreement and ensure all other occupants abide by these terms. As consideration for the booking and use of Vacation Rental Property during the lease term, Guest agrees to pay Manager for all items specified. 1\. RESPONSIBLE PARTY: Guest is an adult at least 25 years of age and will be an occupant of Property during the entire reserved period, unless other arrangements are approved in writing by Manager. Guests and/or occupants' valid government I.D. must be presented upon request. Guest assumes responsibility for all actions of other occupants and guests. Persons not falling within the foregoing categories will be required to vacate the property immediately without any refund. Any reservation found to be obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payments, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. Guest agrees to comply with all posted homeowner rules and regulations applicable to use of the Unit and the common areas. 2\. CANCELLATION: We do not accept any cancellations beyond the terms of the reservation platform. There are no refunds at any time on payments received, early departures, delayed arrivals, construction activity, inclement weather or reduction in the number of nights reserved for any reason. Trip travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your reservation. If the Property becomes unavailable or unsuitable for rent for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, casualty loss, physical deterioration, or loss of utility services, the Managers liability will be limited to the return of all monies paid on account at the time of cancellation by the Manager. All monies received will be refunded to Guest within 7 business days of confirmation of notice of cancellation. 3\. TERMINATION: Manager or its agent has the right to inspect and photograph condition of the premises without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. Should Guest or any guests violate the terms of this Agreement, Manager may impose fines up to three (3) times the rental amount, and may terminate Guest’s occupancy with no refunds of rents or security deposits, and Guest shall waive all rights to due process for failure to vacate the premises upon termination. Guest is notified that all individuals occupying the Unit will be subject to immediate eviction procedures under State law. Manager or its agent may enter the premises and remove Guest, the members of Guest's party, and their belongings. Noise disturbances or use of the unit for any unlawful purpose including, but not limited to the possession, serving, or consumption of alcoholic beverages by persons less than 21 years of age, house parties, or use of property in a manner contrary to the provisions of this agreement are prohibited. IF NOISE COMPLAINTS, OVER-OCCUPANCY OR CONTRACT VIOLATIONS OCCUR, OR IF LAW ENFORCEMENT IS DISPATCHED TO PROPERTY DUE TO DISTURBANCES OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, GUEST AND ALL OCCUPANTS ARE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE EVICTION WITH NO REFUNDS GIVEN. 4\. RENTS AND PAYMENT TERMS: 100% of the balance is due at the time of booking – or per the reservation platform policies. Accepted forms of payment are made solely through the booking engine. We do not accept cash on hand at any time. Rates are subject to change and no refunds are given in the event advertised rental rates are reduced. If a discrepancy arises between information or rates quoted verbally, on the website, email or otherwise, the rate on the reservation will prevail. In the event incorrect information or rates are quoted due to a typographical or other error, Manager shall have the right to refuse, cancel or limit any reservations listed incorrectly, whether or not a reservation confirmation has been sent. 5\. SECURITY DEPOSIT / DEPOSIT PROTECTION: Security Deposit is the amount stated on the reservation platform - Guest is offered a Security Deposit and/or Deposit Protection Plan at the time of booking through the booking engine. If, during the dates of occupancy, Guest causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit or premises as a result of inadvertent acts, and the total cost of damage is not covered by a Security Deposit, the guest will be charged the remaining balance of the cost. Security Deposits less any deductions will be returned within 7-14 days of departure date. If damaged item(s) are deemed by Manager to be intentional or caused by negligence, guest will not receive security deposit back and/or partial amount will be returned. 6\. RESERVATION TRANSFERS: Should Guest need to transfer the reservation to a substitute Guest, substitute Guest must be approved by Manager, and must agree to all terms and conditions. A $150 transfer processing fee shall be applied to the reservation. 7\. CHECK IN: Check in time is 4:00 PM. Early check-in is allowed only with previous arrangements. We may accommodate an early check in (of 2 pm instead of 4 pm) for $75+tax to ensure the home is cleaned and ready for you and your guests. 8\. CHECK OUT: Check out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-out is only allowed with previous arrangements. We may be able to accommodate a late checkout (11:30 am instead of 10 am) for 75+tax. A $75 plus tax fee will be charged and a $40 plus tax fee will be charged for each hour (or portion thereof) past the required check out time and Guest will be liable for any additional damages incurred, but not limited to the cost of supplying alternative accommodations for arriving guests. It is strongly appreciated to depart at the agreed time to ensure the home can be cleaned properly for next guests that may be arriving. 9\. It was clean, comfortable, had great views and was conveniently located (most of our destinations were a quick 15/20 minute drive) and the neighborhood was quite. Check in/out was easy and host was very responsive to questions. Property manager was invasive, watched our every move through cameras, and was hyper-critical of requests or questions regarding AC and construction noise across the street through correspondence. The beds were awful and uncomfortable. I have never left a review like this, I have been an avid VRBO renter for over 10 years, and this was my worst experience. I left the property early due to the overall experience of the stay. There was no bathroom on the main floor and stairs everywhere throughout the house. No AC was a bummer, but it is an old house so it comes with the territory. I would not recommend this property whatsoever, especially at the price point. ##### Nik L. Our family had a wonderful time visiting beautiful San Diego and this house was in the perfect location, so close to everything ! The house was beautiful we had everything we needed such as beach towels a well stocked kitchen and an awesome pool for the kids. The home is in a great location it’s centrally located and easy access to many things in the San Diego area. Location is ideal for any and all Mission Bay and SD activities. The view is stunning. Breeze is intoxicating and it was a first class experience in every way. I love it when the property is set up so we can get codes in advance and just show up. That was the case here. The ad and description don’t do the house and property justice in my opinion. The renovation was outstanding. It has all the original charm while still feeling new and all upgraded. The Pool was an oasis of solitude, surrounded by beautiful planting’s, flowers and butterflies! We planned an amazing amount of activities and ALL were within a short drive or walk from the house. We have been using VRBO for over a decade an this was in the op properties of all time.
