You’re only a few steps from the beach and in a great central spot from everything. The house itself is dated but does the job and is shown well in the pictures! The patio was nice to sit out there and you can hear the ocean waves crashing from the patio or even in the kitchen with the windows open. There was plenty of beach towels provided and having the garage was great. It fit our SUV easily and we were able to store boogey boards, surfboards, and chairs there when we weren’t using them. The bedrooms were perfect and the balcony great as well. The only thing needing attention was the dishware wasn’t clean when we arrived but we mostly used paper plates so no big deal. Unfortunately, the house itself left a bit to be desired. It is not well maintained and all the doors were drafty. None of the outside doors were sealed properly, so you could see light coming in from outside. The doors were all really warped too, so I didn't feel super confident that they were secured especially in the master bedroom downstairs. It was also an unseasonably cooler time in San Diego when we were there, so the house was ice cold. The downstairs heaters didn't work and the space heaters didn't help much. It was colder in the house than outside! The upstairs shower also didn't have hot water, so our whole family had to use the master. The one time we reached out to the host/manager for help when the power went out, he acted irritated that we had called. Overall, I was not impressed with this property other than its awesome location. The house needs some serious maintenance and could use a little updating as well. ##### Amy M.
