Overall, the stay was very comfortable and made me wish we had booked a longer stay. Obviously equipped for an extended stay, the room was complete with fridge, stove, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. I'm pretty sure my own kitchen isn't as stocked :P. We had a (sidelong) view of the beach and walking there took just a few minutes. For my morning run, Pacific was accessible for beach views the entire way north to the harbor and partial beach views south to Carlsbad. Dozens of shopping and dining options were less than a mile away with two markets literally across the street. Parking was inside a small shared garage with plenty of space. We are planning another stay here soon.

The entire staff was welcoming. We checked in and Ana had given us an upgrade to a two bedroom suite. It was more than we expected, wish we could've stayed longer. Can't beat the location, right in front of the beach. The only thing was the noise from the 2nd bedroom we could hear the transit. But everything else was awesome, we even got to use the beach cruisers and beach toys with no additional costs.
I stayed overnight there while visiting my grandkids. did not eat or use the pool. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff was pleasant. I will stay there again on my next trip to San Diego.
Small and cozy with a beachy vibe. A little outdated but we just needed a place to rest. Very quiet and everyone was friendly.
Only thing was out room didn't have a full length mirror so we had to keep going next door to our friends room to use theirs.
Overall, good experience and good location if you want to hang around the beach. A lot of restaurants within waking distance too.
I don't know why this hotel has 2.5 stars. When I try and give it 5 stars, it won't let me. This hotel was awesome for the price I paid. I was a little hesitant because of the ratings, but it was definitely worth it. It's within walking distance it small shoppes and food places. It's roomy and didn't have anything wrong with it. This will definitely be my "go to" hotel from now on. I wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else. I can't believe I got such a good deal on a hotel like this. Also, the breakfast was good :)
Has lots of pools, a spa, and many activities -- including many for children. Restaurant is a bit pricey, but food was okay. It is quite pretty, in the mountains sort of. But, this also makes things a bit hilly. You can get nearly anything right at the resort -- morning coffee, a paper, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.. Also, it has its own theater, with usually some sort of musical.
