Overall, the stay was very comfortable and made me wish we had booked a longer stay. Obviously equipped for an extended stay, the room was complete with fridge, stove, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. I'm pretty sure my own kitchen isn't as stocked :P. We had a (sidelong) view of the beach and walking there took just a few minutes. For my morning run, Pacific was accessible for beach views the entire way north to the harbor and partial beach views south to Carlsbad. Dozens of shopping and dining options were less than a mile away with two markets literally across the street. Parking was inside a small shared garage with plenty of space. We are planning another stay here soon.

Legitimate ocean view. Our unit was on the beachfront strand, so we started to hear local foot traffic and minor car traffic at a reasonable hour, but a bit earlier than we would have hoped for a vacation. Safe and secure parking, walking distance to downtown Oceanside. Further away from the train than other major places nearby - barely heard it, but when we were out and about we realized that other nearby properties were right on the line - and the train horn was sounding when it went through town. Not fancy or luxury but hit the spot. Recommend a coffee at the succulent cafe a few blocks away!
This hotel is under "re"construction. Lots of noise during daytime hours from workers in rooms above where we were placed. But we loved the two room suite and the ability to close the door to the bedroom so one person could nap while the person in the living room could watch move around or watch tv.
The bathroom was split with the toilet and bath/shower enclosed and the vanity and closet open to the bedroom. made it difficult to brush teeth or run water with a light sleeper trying to sleep in.
They do a nice breakfast 7 days a week and a tapas dinner M-F. We enjoyed those things. We would use this again as it was close to our family.
There was construction going on one day, but I'm sure that doesn't happen very often. The ladies in the room next door woke up at 5 am and were making lots of noise. The manager and his staff were very helpful and accomodating. Close to the best part of PB. I would stay there again.
Fair condition overall. The 2 bdroom suite is very roomy. The hotel surroundings are clean. The complimentary continental breakfast is Very convenient. The location is great, walking distance to the beach, cove, and shops. The front desk staff are great, very friendly and helpfull.
