Experience all that the 'Spanish Village by the Sea' has to offer as you stumble across unique and charming shops or unwind on the stunning beaches. Tasteully furnished and completely decorated, our home is the perfect getaway for you and your guests. It features 3 beautiful bedrooms: 2 with queen-size beds and one with a full-size bed. Entertain your guests on the private backyard patio, complete with a gas fire pit table, or sit back and catch some sun on the cozy lounge chairs. You'll be located right in historic downtown, so most of the things you'll want to do are just a short walk away. Just around the corner is Avenida Del Mar, a street full of restaurants and shops to visit. If you're lucky enough to be there on Sunday, there is a farmers market and vendors are out rain or shine from 9am-1pm. The first Sunday of each month, along with the farmers market, is an art and crafts fair from 9am-4pm where you can purchase and view art, crafts, and other creative items. Two main attractions in San Clemente are the pier and beach, where you can enjoy a nice meal, a stroll, some fishing, and amazing coastline views. If you are looking to surf, this is the place to be. If you venture further south, you will find Lower Trestles, which is a world class surf spot 3 mi from the house. Here are some other things that you may be interested in: \- Dana Point Harbor (shopping, dining, deep sea fishing, as well as kayak, sail boat, and jet ski rentals): 7 mi \- San Clemente Aquatic Center: 7 mi \- Crystal Cove State Park: 17 mi \- Balboa Island Ferry: 27 mi \- Disneyland/California Adventure: 36 mi \- Sea World San Diego: 56 mi For your convenience, we provide beach umbrellas, towels, and chairs. Also just a short drive to T Street which was our favorite beach - full of families enjoying the sand and surf.The house itself has way more charm than a generic beach stay with elements that you can only get in a historic property. The water balloon fights were a unique and fun twist to our holiday. It was exciting to see everyone getting involved, but I must admit, I was a little taken aback when I noticed a few windows blown out in the aftermath. Just something to be cautious of if you’re planning to participate!As for the house itself, it boasted an abundance of natural fresh air, which was refreshing since there was no air conditioning. We left the windows open to let in the breeze, but unfortunately, we did encounter a few pesky spider bites during our stay. So, a word of caution—while the fresh air is lovely, keep an eye on those unwelcome guests!The home was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, which made our stay comfortable. I did appreciate the natural flow of the breeze through the many windows, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, I couldn't help but notice the somewhat excessive number of labels throughout the home. While they were handy for navigating everything, it felt a bit overwhelming with reminders everywhere.One aspect I was particularly disappointed about was sharing the entrance with another rental unit located above ours.
