Be aware that roads advertised for off roading are closed from April 1 until Sept. because of fire danger and endangered species. If you want to do things you will have to drive for awhile. We ended up going to the Pinnacles which is 90 min approx. but would highly recommend. If you want to just relax, read and be away from it all its the perfect place."
