Castroville Modern Farm House

Fantastic, newly remodeled home close to everything, but in the country. Located in eastern Medina County only 3.75 miles north of Historic Castroville, and 30 minutes to downtown San Antonio! Enjoy the peaceful country setting of this small pecan orchard and hay farm located off a paved county road with paved driveway and open air-parking. New modern and antique furniture, wrap around porch with seating, and large open concept living and kitchen area make this property a convenient and relaxing getaway.

Enjoy viewing wildlife including white-tailed deer, bobwhite quail, and many native bird species.

Enjoy the Historic Charm of Eastern Medina County and the close proximity to San Antonio. Farm House Close to Hoffman Ranch

We were in town for a wedding at Hoffman Ranch. The house is literally less than 5 minutes away. The house was very cozy and provided all the necessities needed for our stay. We even saw some deer and rabbits! One item of note is that the master king bed is pretty high, so if you have issues getting into a high bed, you may want to bring a step stool for safety. The owners were easy to communicate with for the rental. We would definitely rent again!

Beautiful Home To Make You Feel At Home

What a gem of a place. Clean, quiet, gorgeous home with everything you could need. There were 6 of us that shared this home while attending our son's wedding at Hoffman Ranch. SO much better than getting motels. We were able to prepare our own food and have meals around the table together, hang out and chat in the comfy living room when we weren't attending wedding shenaningans, and come back and sleep like a log in the comfy beds. Seriously don't think twice about renting this awesome place. Thanks so much!!

My family along with another couple booked this home and we were all happy with our decision. I have a 7yo and 10mo. Open floor concept and very clean. I had no worries of my crawler getting into anything she shouldn’t. The privacy is a compliment on its own, but the house is beautiful. I plant to take my young family on a Seaworld trip this summer & would boom this listing again. No complaints from my party. Thank you to the Young’s for letting us stay.

Immaculately clean and well organized & equipped, this property is in a great location for events in Castroville. Family members were impressed with the peacefulness of the area and were excited to see the local wildlife up close, including two baby fawns that made frequent appearances.

Peaceful and out of the way

There are a good number of rules for this house, but it's honestly one of the favorite places I've been to via VRBO. Weather was 105+ and the AC kept up with it. Comfortable master bed, no complaints from family on the rest of the beds. A good way from the noise of San Antonio, but just 5 minutes away from WalMart and everything you'd need for a stay. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat if we're in the area.
