This gorgeous ground floor, two bedroom, two bath home is beautifully furnished with whimsical hand painted furniture and tastefully decorated. The home has all new modern appliances, cable TV, Wii, and private parking. Located only .3 m from the riverwalk and a short walk to all downtown attractions. This home was renovated to be an AirBnB with all modern conveniences and amenities incorporated. It was the perfect home base for our adventures. Many of the things we wanted to see were within walking distance. We loved all the artwork in the house and the living room and bedrooms were comfortable and it was nice to have separate bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Vicky’s Place. ##### Drew M. Her artwork was bold and colorful. The hand-painted furniture was quaint and each was one-of-a-kind. The kitchen was well-outfitted and the appliances worked well. However, there were some problems we encountered as an older couple. The bed in the front bedroom is lumpy and the person sleeping on the left side feels as if he will fall off! We tried sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed and that was no better. The closet in that bedroom is small and the pole to hang clothes on is so high and close to the top shelf that it is almost unusable. The bed in the back bedroom is more comfortable but the bathroom there is tiny. The front bathroom is larger but has a high step up into the bedroom. It is marked but still dangerous for someone older. The front door entry code worked well -- a plus. The rather bright lights on the front porch came on automatically at night making it impossible for the front bedroom to be dark despite the blinds being closed.Overall, the apartment is cute. If I were much younger, I probably would have enjoyed it more and not been bothered by the problems we encountered. The location is excellent. ##### Myra J.
