This 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse located in a quiet gated community with a beautiful park-like setting and a sparkling community pool (not artificially heated). The bedrooms include 1 king size bed, 1 queen size bed and 2 full beds to accommodate 6 adults comfortably. The master bathroom has a standing shower. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo. The living room has a comfortable leather sofa and love seat and a 55" smart TV where you can stream your own Netflix or other favorite streaming service (no cable). Each of the bedroom also have smart TVs for streaming. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is fully equipped with a drip coffee pot, blender, toaster, pots, pans, plates and silverware for 8 people. The formal dining room has a stunning wood table with seating for 8\. The private patio area has a table, chairs, umbrella and a gas barbeque grill... perfect for a family outdoor gathering. The pool is located a few steps away from the house in the middle of the complex. The pool is currently OPEN. The pool season opens mid-May and goes through mid-September. As with any pool, unforeseen issues sometimes arise which requires the HOA to close it temporarily for maintenance. It does not happen often, but when this happens, it is beyond my control, so I am unable to offer any guarantees. We are pet friendly.. Our back patio is fully fenced in for the safety of your pet. The supermarket, Wal-Mart, movie theaters, and an array of restaurants are less than 2 miles away. As stated in the description it is about 20 minutes from downtown but easy to get there via highway. We did alot of activities that were outside of downtown so it was the perfect hub for our daily adventures. Check-in process was very easy and although we didn't need to contact the owner for anything, the initial e-mail more than covered everything we needed to know for our stay. And if you’re going for the pool make sure you check with the owner to see that it is either not under construction or being maintenance. We are from Oregon, so when we booked knowing weather was still in the 90s we were extremely disappointed when we could not use the pool. ##### Britrany B. They really did a wonderful job stocking this place. If you forgot anything, they had it there. It was loaded with spices, shampoo, trash bags, and everything you will need. Jul 26, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Good location, well stocked. Family trip to SeaWorld, Alamo, and river walk over 4th of July week. Good central location between downtown and SeaWorld. House was well stocked with supplies, it’s a dated house but appears to have been renovated but still shows its age. Comfortable beds. Upon arrival noticed a ding cockroach on floor, must have recently been sprayed. Neighborhood is gated and fenced in so helps with security, I went for a run around the neighborhood each morning, quite a few stray cats, I about got bit by one of the residents little dogs one morning that chased me. Neighborhood was safe & quiet. Pictures & listing details were accurate. (except one thing: there are 5 chairs outside, pic shows four...was a bonus as we had 5 people staying) Overall very clean & spacious. It had the things we needed for cooking and eating. Furniture was quite comfortable. Everything worked well. no complaints about the house at all!! Community Pool: The pool area isn't the owner's responsibility, but we found it run down and not very clear. I've never seen a pool where you have to use a key to get in and out. Hours are Monday 3 pm - 10 pm. Tuesday through Sunday 10 am to 10 pm. They didn't have it open Monday at all since the maintenance guy put chemicals in at 3 pm when it was supposed to open. He claimed it gets used a lot on the weekend, from what we saw that wasn't true at all (one other group in it besides us). There were a lot of leaves in it, the maintenance guy said it gets cleaned out twice a week. After maintenance Monday it was a little better, but still quite a few leaves. There were some people that came to use the pool, but seeing the cloudy water and leaves, they left without getting in. Again, it isn't the owner's fault, but if the pool is important to your stay, this info might help you. Close distance from base allows for capitalizing on your time with your loved one either sightseeing or just hanging out with your ariman for some quiet down time! Beds were very comfortable and there were ample towels, etc. The pool was not at all safe for anyone to swim in, but that is an HOA issue, not something the host can control.
