A bit of a lower end neighborhood, but we did not experience any issues while we were there. About 15 or 20 minutes to Lackland Air Force Base with average traffic. Has a dishwasher which was nice. Host provides dish soap, also some laundry soap. There were a few items in the cupboard, such as some spices and salt and pepper, oil, etc. so was nice not to have to purchase those items.. ##### Tom M. Walmart is literally 2 minutes away, also. On arrival the house was clean and cool. One of the restrooms does have a slow draining sink but nothing too bad.Overall, this was a pretty good stay. ##### Jari Z. We only used the master bathroom. The other shower was gross and blue stained. Dishwasher didn't work. No drying rack when i hand washed dishes. The stove you had to cook on high just to cook. The dishes were dirty and the pots were falling apart. For us the mattresses were way too hard. Slept on the couches. Only one spare trash bag for week stay. No trash bags in bathrooms. Floors were dirty. Found leftover food on floors from previous stays. Backyard wasnt maintained. And only on tv and unfortunately the internet kept lagging. So all in all you get what you pay for. ##### Ashley B. She fixed a broken toilet roll mount, and replaced a bathroom light during our stay. The toilets continually ran in all bathrooms and could not be repaired during our stay. The Bathtub needs resurfacing due to a leaky faucet. All of these problems are easily fixed, and probably won’t be a concern for future renters. Pix show carpeting which has been replaced by basic laminate flooring. Going up and down the stairs is painful on sock feet due to the molding that was used. Wear shoes. The Arrangement of furniture is different than shown online. Neighbors are mostly quiet, although since it is an townhome/apartment style complex noisy cars/music are sometimes heard. This is a basic VRBO located exactly where we needed it for the AFB BMT ceremonies. Thank you for your graceful hosting. We enjoyed Lackland, The Alamo, and The Riverwalk area. ##### Larry K. Got in around midnight. It was easy to access, end unit. Instructions were provided as stated. Nice to have a half bath downstairs. It only took about 10 minutes to Valley HI gate on base. Super easy to communicate with! Only issue with the basic TV with basically 3 working channels and no ability to sign into Netflix or any only streaming service as advised which poses as a small issue when traveling with kids.. would suggest to bring your own hdmi hookups to watch anything. Also, would not suggest wearing socks while walking down the stairs as my husband did and his sock ripped a hole with the loose trim of the steps.
