- Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
This place is definitely showing its age (although they’re starting a renovation now). However the real issue is the lack of customer service. Advertised check in is 3pm. Our room wasn’t ready until 4. This isn’t a big deal, but the front desk didn’t even acknowledge the delay. Ok,fine. Next day I step out of the shower and unroll the bath towel...2 out of the 3 towels had visible stains on them (gross). I call the front desk and her response is “so...you need more towels?”. Went to the bar one afternoon and the bartender says “what do you want?” I ask if there’s a drink menu. Her response is “no...just tell me what you want”. Bought a candy bar with a $20 bill. The night manager rings it up and says “I only have singles so that’s what you’re getting back”. Again by themselves none of these would be major (except the towel thing). It’s that clearly nobody working in this hotel knows how to empathize with the customer. There are plenty of hotels in San Antonio....avoid the hotel Indigo.
