Home is on Frederick creek, on a secluded dead end street with only one neighbor..ample parking is available on the dead end street with room for trailers. Home is 4 bedrooms that sleeps 10 adults with one bedroom containing a additional day bed that can sleep 2 additional in the room. It has a great deck that looks out on creek and deer run. It also has a fire pit for frosty nights. There were some thoughtful details, like a welcome bottle of wine and a house guide with local recommendations and rules, which we appreciated.That said, there were a few issues worth noting:\* One of the upstairs bedrooms was listed as having a queen bed, but it’s actually a full bed next to a pullout/daybed—so the listing was a bit misleading.\* One upstairs bathroom didn’t have a working lock, which was inconvenient.\* We found a couple of dead bugs in one of the upstairs bedrooms.Communication with the host was prompt, but the overall tone felt more transactional than hospitable. It’s a small but important part of the experience—and one that reminded us why many travelers still gravitate toward hotels for a more guest-centered feel.Additionally, we were required to pay a 95 hotel occupancy fee via Zelle \*outside\* of the VRBO platform before receiving the entry code.
