Hemisphere park was basically across the street. Parking was easy right on front of the house. The cabin was airconditioned and had strong Internet and cable tv. I was attending a conference and it was a pleasant walk back through the park to the house. We even met some neighbors and socialized out on the porch loke old friends. You could also just hangout privately withnyour family if that is your style. Will definitely come back again when in SA. The property owner lives on site and was very nice and accommodating when we asked about the TV and heater. The unit itself was old but relatively clean. I came to San Antonio for a conference. So glad the hotel was sold out and I looked for Vrbo availability. Stayed in "Adorable" (Ms. Oliva's name for the guest apartment I stayed in). Very clean and comfortable space that's an easy walk to the convention center. Ms. Oliva is kind and friendly. She is happy to interact with her guests at their level of comfort. If you want to be left alone to do your own thing, she will only check to be sure you have everything you need. Personally, I enjoyed hanging out with Ms. Oliva, her friends, and her precious dogs.
