Easy access from freeway. Easy check-in. The carpets in both rooms I rented had stains. There was an unpleasant, weed like smell, in the hallway. Minimal breakfast. No-one was there to clean up the floor in the dining area during breakfast after someone spilled eggs everywhere. Sticky floors by elevator.

This was the second Comfort Suites that i stayed at in my first 2 weeks here in, San Antonio. I myself am an 19 year Navy Veteran as well as being in the housekeeping and hospitality field for the same amount of time. I must say that this last Comfort Suites by far exceeded my expectation From the front desk customer service to the housekeeping outstanding attention to detail. The kindness and professionalism they showed me was overwhelming.I recommend that the Comfort Suites on, Vantage Way Road take a lesson from this, Comfort Suites on, San Pedro Avenue !! I also recommend to an future people looking for a relaxing and clean and safe environment to spend the night or more to come to this one!Job well done.

Neglect + disrepair= unpleasant stay
I stayed here as part of a charity event I was participating in. To start, checkin was problematic. The late night desk clerk, while pleasant, tried to make me pay for a room that was prepaid. When I questioned the charge, he stumbled, then ran my card again behind the desk for the deposit. Never gave me a receipt. Then we got to the room. It was filthy. Potato sticks and visible dirt on the floor, bugs in both beds, and a roach on the wall- all reported to the front desk. Then the shower didn't work- first it didnt drain and then it ran out of water- reported to the front desk. Someone came to "fix it"- it still didnt drain properly until the last morning of our stay. The TV channels didn't work and just in general the stay was disappointing. All was not a fail, however. The location was prime. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was courteous and kind. There is a need for training and general upkeep and maintenance. I would not stay here again.

It was a one night only stay before our travel to Austin Grad Prix. The Hotel has excellent commodities, location, the breakfast was on time and great. My only concern was about the cleanliness of the room, specially the rug floor, the room smell very very bad.

I'll start with what was okay: Handicap parking available near the door. The mattress was fairly comfortable, although we laid on top of the bed without changing into PJ's. The not so okay: There was an awful stain was on the floor, in addition to the lamps and other furnishings in the room being extremely dusty (clearly not part of the housekeeping routine). Something was flying in the room and the front desk provided a spray. My expectations were moderate, but overall, I was very disappointed paying $140 for this room. Did not have breakfast, just got moving quickly the next morning.

My husband and I came to San Antonio to go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. We only stayed here one night and it was perfect. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked great. The bed was comfy and shower worked well. I would definitely recommend staying here! Affordable and clean.

Theres a $100 deposit at the property. Its clean, theres an area to do laundry, they offer breakfast. Its decent for the price especially the location. The rooms are actually pretty big. All in all, Id stay here again.

I liked that the hotel is in the middle of town, where you can easily get to other places, liked that I had to wake up to hot breakfast every morning, it's a plus as far as am concerned. Staff was good, liked my room, except that you have to request for change of beddings every three days. Don't know if they're trying to save money. Safety scare while I was there, A Guest disrupted breakfast/used racial slures and police had to be called.

It’s a comfort suites. Don’t expect too much and you’ll be fine. We stayed there with our 13 & 15 yr old for 4 nights while vacationing to six flags (15 min away), The Alamo & River walk(15 min away), & Sea World (20 min away). The property is clean and so was our room. We didn’t ask or allow them to clean our room while we were there because we don’t like anyone in our room. Less people = less worry about someone messing with our stuff. We chose this place because of its central location to what we were doing. No issues about safety as it was located by a bunch of office buildings that were empty at night. They do serve breakfast but don’t expect anything crazy. Waffles, toast, a bran muffin, 1 flavor of yogurt, apples, 3 kinds of cereal, sausage, & some not to great powered? Eggs. The big change from one day to the next was were you going to get sausage patties or links. Finding the entry to the hotel can be tricky at first because your gps will try to take you in a back way that doesn’t exist. But once you figure that out, you’re fine. Plenty of restaurants and a Target within 5-10 min.

My room220 smelled really bad,I couldn’t tell if it had been used as a smoker room or wet carpet. The bed was barely made(not neat at all for a “clean” room! The hallway also deeper of “Mari-juana”… No tissue on the roll And lastly the toilet did NOT flush,when I mentioned it to the desk clerk,he smirked(weird) then I understood there was a language barrier. The next guy I explained it to, he mentioned no maintenance was there til the am & “Would you like a plunger?”-NO TF I DO NOT…we had to hold it til we could check out the next morning. The guest restroom must have met a sick guest or work staff, because it was gross,I was livid & dang near wanted to cry at this point….I would not recommend at all oh yeah I changed out my sheets on both beds and pull out couch I was told the manager would contact me I have yet to hear anything and I don’t even expect to at this point. The ONLY nice thing about this place is that it looks like a new building online & real time, it’s not cleanly kept. Check out was at 10am,breakfast over with at 930…we didn’t eat there,was too afraid too…

I have stayed in hotels of all calibres around the world and have NEVER before stayed in a room where they don't provide housekeeping unless you make a special request. There is nothing on their profile that says they only provide housekeeping every 3 days, yet this is what I was told AFTER I checked in. I wish I'd known before booking and paying, but I accepted it and I understand the ecological issues of cleaning towels and linens everyday - I have no problem with reusing a towel and not having sheets changed daily. But when I'm told that these will be changed on the 3rd day, I expect that - but got attitude form the staff when on the 3rd day this was not provided. I was then told that I should have asked for it. So for the 5 days that I stayed there, they didn't even come in to vacuum, remove garbage or restock the toiletries, coffee/teabags etc.

Not smart
The front desk clerk, “Krish” was not at the smartest person I’ve ever encountered. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes before I was helped. He couldn’t understand that i booked a reservation but needed to pay, kept telling me “you still need to pay” while I held my credit card out to pay. Finally he understood, and asked for ID, I told him he had my ID which he did, it was the first thing I handed him. Finally got checked in went into the room and the bathroom door was locked. The hotel could not get it open, so they moved us to another room which was across the hall toward the back after I requested to be moved toward the lobby. Just a terrible check and won’t be coming back. They seem incompetent there and hotel situated in a dead zone. Bad vibes

This location was right where we needed to be to be close to everything. Hotel was quiet and comfortable. Definitely recommend
