They are small by American standards yet quite sufficient for a stay, Comfortable king size bed and shower. Limited closet space but ok. Service is awesome while dining. Now let me say this..the 31 year old chef is amazing. The food was so good we and many other guest did not need to go into town for food. Thank goodness they do not have a pastre chef. If we had desserts, I will need to buy new clothes after the vacation. Seriously, the chef, the staff, the property, the views and all of San Andres is amazing. I am coming back again and again. The rooms are extremely small, the bathroom had a terrible smell, and there was barely any space to place our luggage. On our last day, it started to rain, so we returned to our room. Suddenly, it began raining inside the room — at first just on the floor, so we placed towels down, but shortly after, water was pouring in from everywhere: the bed, the bathroom, and even running down the walls. We immediately reported the situation to the front desk, and they claimed it was the first time this had ever happened — which is clearly not true, as the extent of the water damage suggested an ongoing issue. We were forced to move to another room in the middle of a torrential downpour, and the staff completely ignored what had happened. No apology, no assistance — absolutely disgraceful. This is the kind of hotel you should actively avoid.
