From the landscaping, to the views, to the lake, to the comfort of the cottage, you have it all. The property features many small spaces to create memories and take it all in. A patio with lake view and the sound of the creek. A fire pit nestled amongst the bushes and the outdoor lights. And the lakefront for swimming and water adventures. The experience was so exceptional that we chose to return before continuing our journey to Idaho and Colorado. There was a barbecue, fire pit, lounge chairs overlooking the lake, kayaks, and standup paddle boards. Right out back is a dedicated biking / walking trail that runs 4 miles in either direction along the lake. With Issiquah a short drive in one direction and Redmond in the other there were plenty of dining out options. We stayed almost three weeks at Amy and DK's cottage, and loved every minute of it. The area is absolutely tranquil! A nice stream flows through the property, all the way down the the lake. The sound of running water adds the peaceful ambiance of the cottage. The cottage itself has a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We greatly appreciated that its dog friendly. Our party was 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 German Shepherds, we all fit with no worries. The hosts are fantastic people, way more accommodating than most of the other VRBOs where we have stayed. We had a fantastic time and greatly appreciate the hosts! ##### Donny P. The welcome gift basket of snacks was so welcome after a long day of travel. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of doggie amenities as well, including towels to dry off and blankets to cover the furniture. The bedrooms have USB ports and outlets. The beds and linens were high end and very comfortable.The cottage does share a wall with the main house and the pathway to the main house does pass in front of the cottage. However, the owners were so respectful of our privacy and we often drew the blinds down the french doors down so it was not an issue at all. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. ##### Siang K. Y.
