"Perfect hotel for me. We had a room with balcony with chairs and a table and an amazing view of the valley. The room was basic but we were out most of the time so we didn’t mind. Despite being located above a road, it was very quiet and dark at night. Beds, as well as the sofabed were comfy. All staff was lovely. Breakfast looked very good though we haven’t tried it, only had some coffee (a nice one) and some cakes bits on the house during the day. Hotel is picturesque and clean. I rated cleanliness 4 only due to mouldy seals in the bathroom. The room could do with decorating and a tiny fridge for essentials as there is no restaurant. Though if you have a car or don’t mind walking, the village of Golling is definitely worth a visit; it’s a stunning place with a lovely atmosphere and plenty of restaurants. The gorge which is literally behind the hotel is also worth a visit. We visited it in the evening and had the place to ourselves. There is plenty of parking available, for free. "

"This is a lonely, fairly small hotel. We stayed in the Panorama Suite which was really spacious, impressive and comfortable with great views. This is a great hotel to be near the zell am see slope, walking distance to rental shops and the slope. The breakfast was nice, although the restaurant is quite small and it does get very busy with everyone wanting to hit the slopes in the morning. There is space at the hotel to store ski equipment, although it is limited and if you stay or later you're not guaranteed space. We were a little disappointed but the facilities, we thought there would be more spa like facilities but it is just a sauna in the basement which we didn't fancy going in. In the local area there isn't too much going on - we found the dining options limited from a vegetarian/vegan perspective, and a lot of activities that were recommended were not open until summer (i.e boat trips on the lake). We would rather have stayed in Kaprun on reflection. However it was still a good stay, and it's also conveniently located for bus stops to take you to the other slopes. Would recommend for a short stay. "

"Perfect location for the centre without being disturbed. Authentic accommodation with an excellent choice at breakfast. Evening meal was optional which we enjoyed as the quality and service was exceptional, a little expensive but you definitely pay for what you get. Staff are very pleasant and spoke good English which made our stay more enjoyable. The Junior suite was a good size very clean and serviced everyday. Unfortunately there is no tea & coffee facilities in the room or air conditioning when staying in the summer. This may be uncomfortable on hot days. Overall I would highly recommend and we plan to return in the winter months "

"My family and I stayed here for one night. The room was very very spacious and had a newly renovated vibe. Beds were comfy. The room had a good table and a steam sauna. We couldn’t get the sauna to get super hot but it has potential to be great! Staff was nice too. Breakfast was €6 and I am not sure it was worth €6. It was so so in quality. Overall happy with our stay. "
