The room was clean! So, I’m almost always a return customer to a hotel when I’m in a clean breathable room. There was no carpet, so I did not have to deal with allergy issues. I also loved the hot showers, and the hotel does not skimp on heat in cool months. It was always toasty when walking onto the floor where my room was situated. I would have given staff a 5 but they didn’t all seem to go through the same training. …most staff were warm and extremely helpful (especially the woman who checked me in and the gentleman who checked me out) but twice I asked a question at reception and was met with short responses. Hope management takes note. It’s truly the best! The hotel is new, which means it’s fresh, modern, and very clean. The staff was wonderful at every step—from check-in, to the restaurant, to check-out. Everyone we interacted with was kind, helpful, and welcoming. Parking is available for a fee, but it’s super convenient. Moreover, there are great dining options and shopping just a short 3–5 minute walk away. I’m not sure if I’ll ever have the chance to return to the Salzburg area, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t recommend this fantastic hotel to fellow travelers. There is a big mall 4 min away with plenty of shops and food choices. The train to the city center is 5 min walk away. The gym is very modern, including a reformer Pilates as well. The hotel is about 4 km from the city centre, we walked to the city centre, as we love exploring the non turistic areas as well, but there are lots of busses going to that direction too. The Salzburg airport is also 4 km away from the hotel. The employees at reception and at the hotel bar were gracious hosts and were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. They gave us great information, and made our stay even better. They definitely hired the right people for the job. I enjoyed the location, parking, and the room. My one criticism would be that the bathroom door has a mechanism that makes it automatically shut when I wanted the door to stay open, but it was just a minor inconvenience. All in all, a very nice hotel next to a very big shopping mall. While it is located a bit farther from the city center—about a 30-40 minute bus ride (just 5 minutes walk to the bus stop or Sbahn station though)—the convenience of having IKEA and shopping mall Europark right across the street more than makes up for it. This is ideal for those who are looking to explore these attractions or need shopping options nearby. The room, while well-appointed, is on the smaller side. If you have two large pieces of luggage, it might feel a bit cramped and maneuvering around could be challenging. That said, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is modern and well-designed, offering a relaxing space after a long day. The staff were consistently friendly and professional, both at the Front Office and in F&B, making our stay more enjoyable. However, there was an issue with housekeeping: despite not having a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, our room was missed for cleaning on one of the days leading up to our checkout. While this wasn’t a major inconvenience, it was an unexpected oversight.
