Déçu par le hall de réception ok pour les chambres et le petit déjeuner pas de mini bar dans les chambres Surprenant pour un 4 étoiles! Quand on choisit centre-ville on se demande qui détermine le centre-ville ( je parle pour le site hôtel.com !)

Bon séjour dans un bon hotel.
Séjour très positif. Nous avons rencontré un petit problème lors du check-in et en avons fait part au personnel. La réaction a été très rapide et le problème résolu. Merci. L'hôtel est bien situé, à 2 minutes du château de Mirabell. La rue est calme et les chambres spacieuse. Je vous conseille la chambre 11 (chambre double) avec petit coin salon et balcon. L'hôtel dispose égalememt d'une terrasse/jardin. Enfin, nous vous conseillons sincèrement Salzburg qui est une très belle vill.

Hôtel proche de la gare (7min à pied) et des principales attractions touristiques (15min du centre ville). Chambres refaites à neuf récemment. Petit mais avec tout ce qu'il faut. Petit déjeuner correct mais pas trop de choix en sucré. Pensez à acheter la city card, elle est vraiment intéressante.

Excellent Hôtel, staff très gentil et très accueillant. Très copeiux buffet du petit-déjeuner. Tout était parfait. Un tout petit peu loin du vrai centre à pied (20 minutes, mais près du jardin Mirabell.

Hotel Markus Sittikus : calme et bien situé
Le personnel est chaleureux et de bon conseil par rapport aux sites à visiter. L'hôtel est agréable, très calme et le centre de Salzbourg est accessible en quelques minutes à pied. La chambre que nous avions ne correspondait pas aux photos sur Internet mais bien que moins jolie, elle était grande, propre et confortable. Le petit déjeuner était correct et varié .

The hotel is quiet and the room was clean and quite roomy for an old European hotel. There are steps from the street into the hotel and it is a little dated. Staff is not there through the night, but helpful with our questions during the day. Very nice garden, social rooms and an honor bar on the first floor. Overall, we would stay again.

The room is so small and the facility is limited: no fridge, no water cups in the room. There was even no shampoo or shower gel in the shower room on the day we arrived. We complained next morning as no staff on property in the night and they replaced the shower gel/shampoo. It was the worst hotel we had in our whole trip. I would like to say that hotel could be ranked as three stars with maximum.

Close to the Mirabelle gardens/palace but a fair ways away from the old town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was overpriced for what it is (€24 per person). Room was clean and had a balcony. Placement of shower and toilet were awkward.

Great location for walking or taking public transport. Big aged in many parts, and in need of a facelift. Even though Salzburg is expensive, especially in December, this wasn't great value for the amount we paid. However, no complaints about the room, public rooms small but homely, and helpful reception staff.

Absolutely Lovely 💕
From start to finish, it was an absolutely lovely stay. The reception was friendly and welcoming. The coffee and tea room was set up so nice- one could sit there and play cards all day if there wasn’t so much to see in Salzburg! There is also a bar and sitting room with a record player and great selection of records- such ambiance! And the fact that is an honor bar set the tone for the hotel. I have only stayed in one other hotel that had that and I love the trust and faith it shows in the guests and in humanity.:) Our room was quiet with comfortable beds and big windows. It was a nice 15 minute walk through “New Town” to the main square of Old Town. I would stay here again and again and again. Thank you for such a wonderful visit !

I would not normally leave a review for a 1 night stay. However my experience here was not good. On returning to the hotel in the early evening I genuinely thought the entrance door was locked after trying to enter. So I used the key as mentioned at check-in. This lead to whoever was on the desk shouting/berating me - in front of many other guests - because of me using the key. His tone was very inappropriate. You are paying the hotel you don’t expect to get this treatment- this person is in the wrong business if this is how guests are spoken to. It was perhaps fair for him to say something but the manner was totally unacceptable. Otherwise the single room was pretty basic but with a nice bathroom tv/safe - however no kettle or fridge. The hotel overall is pleasant and in an ideal location for both the main station and sightseeing. However now personally I wish I had chosen somewhere else to stay.

The hotel is in a good location with shopping and restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and the common areas were very cool with a lounge, a bar and a garden. Parking is offsite but fairly close and the hotel gives a discount card to use.
