A spacious and airy ground-floor sea view apartment which is just a few minutes walk from an award-winning beach. This contemporary property sleeps up to 6 people and offers a relaxed holiday for family or friends.

The apartment has extensive outdoor space, with split terraces, shaded areas and a solarium. The main courtyard, which has a table and chairs, is partially shaded for comfortable meals al fresco. A short flight of steps leads up to an open terrace with sun loungers and a stone BBQ.

The entrance to the apartment is through a shaded veranda, from here guests enter the open-plan kitchen which is at one end of the main living area. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. In the middle of the room is a dining table and chairs and at the far end is a contemporary sofa and a flat-screen TV.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom, has a double bed and a wardrobe. A glass door opens onto the shaded veranda
Bedroom 2: The second airy bedroom has a double bed and a chest of drawers.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

This spacious bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet, washing machine and WC.

Location
The villa is in the charming seaside town of Torre Vado, a short walk from beautiful, wide sandy beaches. The town has several good restaurants which serve the freshest seafood and local wines. It is just 15 minutes from Santa Maria di Leuca, at the southern tip of the Salento peninsula. The seafront is known for its lovely villas and elegant buildings whilst the Lungomare Cristofo Colombo is home to many tempting shops. There is also the 18th-century church of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae which is at the very tip of Italy’s heel.

The historic town of Gallipoli (35 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city” and the town does not disappoint. The town’s ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where if you go early you can pick up the freshest catch of the day.

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car.
