« Lovely, clean property with plenty of sleeping spaces for our family of 6 adults. Comfy beds and bedding though 2 of the beds (5 plus a dbl/sgl bunk available) are starting to sag a little in the middle. Quiet. A few minutes walk to Francis Peninsula with great views, moderate hike and sheltered rocky beach. Well appointed kitchen and large expandable table. Within 30 mins of Sechelt and Egmont and 20 mins from Smuggler Cove. Great food when we didn’t cook at the Grasshopper Pub a few minutes...

Lack of adjacent houses make it seem like a totally private north woods experience (bear, deer, many Bald Eagles and one elk spotted from the deck), Would have liked a bathroom on the second floor for the two bedrooms that are not the master suite, as the only second floor bath is in the master suite and therefore unsuitable for others to use during sleeping hours. « OK, met our needs, 9 family, 5 adults, 4 grandchildren, all teenagers. refrigerator not clean, cobwebs in bedroom corners, lack of some towels in some bathrooms, sink restricted in master ensuite, only one toilet paper in each bathroom, only one roll of paper towels, no kettle to boil water. Overall, a nice location and nice house, pricey for not being super clean, did meet our needs and host was very accommodating with the key, the timing and the phone number if there was an issue. Thank you. »

« Very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Well kitted out with appliances, cultlery and everything you might need. Parking on site for one vehicle, so if you are comfortable parking 2nd vehicle on the street, then it works well. Also not amenable to electric vehicles as there was no exterior outlet for charging an all electric. We loved the wood stove, which was very cozy and warm. « Great place to stay, felt like the old days before another unnamed rental platform destroyed itself (ie felt like someone's actual home they rented out). Lovely spot. Only knocking off a star because of communication overload. Wasn't sure if I was communicating with agency, owner or 'host'. They were all perfectly fine when speaking to each of them though. Place was clean enough. »
