Ballyholme’s crowning glory is its incredible garden, a vibrant burst of colour in the summer that spans both the front and rear of the cottage. A peaceful haven for wildlife enthusiasts, the garden invites you to watch the world go by while listening to the melody of birdsong. Inside, the living room exudes comfort, with two sumptuous sofas surrounding an electric fire, creating a perfect spot for relaxation. The fabulous modern kitchen is well-equipped, catering to culinary enthusiasts, and a separate dining room provides an ideal space for shared meals. The ground floor boasts a king bedroom and a twin bedroom with zip and link beds, along with a family bathroom featuring a shower over the bath.  
  
A surprise awaits upstairs, where paddle stairs lead to a third bedroom under the eaves, accompanied by another bathroom and a snug. This cozy space is perfect for unwinding with a good book or enjoying a leisurely TV session.  
  
Nestled in the tranquil village of Boosbeck, which hosts a quaint fish and chip shop, Ballyholme provides a serene escape. In just under 5 miles away lies the popular seaside destination of Saltburn, a surfers’ paradise with its Victorian pier offering stunning sunset views over the sea. For avid walkers, the Cleveland Way along the cliff tops connects you to the picturesque destinations of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Whitby, and Robin Hood’s Bay. Each locale offers its own unique charm, making for glorious day trips.  
  
Inland, the North York Moors National Park unfolds with vast rolling moorland and ancient forests, inviting exploration and immersion in nature. The North Yorkshire coast and moors are steeped in history, with ancient abbeys, historic fishing villages, and evidence of a rich industrial past. Along the coast, you’ll find Whitby Abbey, a hauntingly beautiful ruin with ties to Dracula, and the historic fishing villages of Staithes and Robin Hood’s Bay, which once thrived as fishing and smuggling hubs.
