Although the host was friendly, and repeatedly asked for a 5 star review, I don't feel comfortable giving that, given the state of the floor and the cons listed above. To me 5 stars is top end, and while this place is fine, and i'd even call the mattresses top end (which to me is a big deal and is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3), the place just isn't a 5 star place. It was the perfect retreat for our autistic kiddos. The child friendly dishes and the Brita filter in the fridge were small but greatly appreciated additions. The downside was the tiny critters we shared with: flies (4), earwig (3), wolf spider (1), woodlouse spider (1). It was a basement, they kind of come with the territory, and the wolf and woodlouse spiders aren't harmful but if you've got arachnophobic people in your party - be prepared. ##### Lars B.
