The house is a beautiful, lower-level duplex walk out basement. It has one of the best views in the area with its stunning panoramic views. It is very private. The guests enter at the back of the property and have an entire beautiful 1/2 acre to themselves while the owners enter up front and have their own separate 1/2 acre. We seldom cross paths except for some yard maintenance. The extra-large windows help you enjoy the fantastic view. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and watch your cares melt away as you absorb the wonderful mountain view. Mountain View Golf Course sits behind the house, which leaves the view wide open to enjoy the perfect view of the breathtaking Wasatch mountains. The outdoor area is what makes this home stand out from all the rest. There is a huge private patio, secluded relaxing hot tub, gazebo, seasonal heated pool, propane fire pit, and outdoor heaters. There is a BBQ grill available for your use. The pictures truly don’t give the experience justice. The Pool is heated seasonally which is generally open Memorial-Labor Day. You will have the backyard facility to yourselves. The hot tub is operational and relaxing both day and night. You can set the heat to your perfect desired temp. Turn on the mood lights, set the music to your favorite tune, sit back, unwind and decompress Another unique feature of this property is the huge bedrooms, twice the size of most bedrooms. Also two large bathrooms with shower and tub in both. This VRBO has a flatscreenTV, Bluetooth speaker cable & high speed internet. Phone chargers are provided for your convenience This house is not far from historic downtown Salt Lake City, home of the Utah Jazz and Temple Square. If you want to go downtown to explore and don’t want to drive, the trax station is only 1/2 mile away to the north (2700 West, Sugar Factory Road). There is a Grocery store, Papa Murphy pizza, dry cleaner, Wells Fargo bank, hair/nail salon, Maverick convenience store, gas station, Beto's Mexican restaurant one block away and Starbucks it is only a 2-minute drive. There are several restaurants and great shopping five-minutes away. Some of the best snow in the US is less than 30 minutes away. There are games, and movies provided. Things to Know: - We provide a fully stocked kitchen + a blender, InstaPot pressure cooker/crock-pot, waffle iron, griddle, Keurig coffee maker, coffee, water, blender, toaster, tableware and serve ware! We provide all bedding/linens, bath towels, wash cloths and even luxury basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash. - We provide toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies such as dish washing detergent, laundry detergent and trash bags. A sanitation kit is provided with Lysol, bacteria wipes, face masks and sanitizer for safety concerns. All high touch areas are sanitized before arrival. It is a basement as others have mentioned, but it’s a walkout with plenty of windows and lots of light! You have the entire place to yourself with a private entrance. It’s big and decorated nicely…very cozy and quiet! Four big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, 2 living room areas…one with a huge tv. You even have a washer and dryer! The beds were super comfortable and the views of the mountains from the backyard and even from inside the living area, are unbelievable! We didn’t take advantage of the hot tub but it looked inviting. Was too cold to swim but the pool area looked awesome if you stay in the summer. Randy is very accommodating and responds quickly. We will definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area! We could not have picked a better place for our first trip to SLC. Everything was exceptionally clean, inside and out. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Very well stocked kitchen and laundry.We enjoyed the incredible hot tub. While we were out of season to use the pool, we could see it was top notch, like the rest of the yard. Randy made our stay smooth as possible. Before we even checked out, we were already saying, “We have to stay here next time we’re in Utah.” The home offered the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and quiet—exactly what we needed for a relaxing vacation.We loved having a peaceful place to return to each afternoon. The owner gave us a quick tour of the backyard (which was lovely) and then let us enjoy it privately. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked—not just with cookware, but with extras like spices, flour, and sugar, which made meal prep easy.All the beds were genuinely comfortable, and for once, I didn’t wish I’d brought my own pillow. That’s rare! The pillows were supportive and far better than the usual flat, squishy ones you often find when traveling.Admittedly, there was one “negative”—the books! The owner had placed a variety of inspiring and beautiful books throughout the home, including one on the musical Hamilton and a book of Photography from the beautiful state of Utah. I couldn’t resist diving in, even when I was supposed to be heading to the pool with the family or getting some sleep.The location is ideal: close to highways, grocery stores, and restaurants, yet blissfully quiet at night. The house has detailed instructions on the different necessities and attractions around the location. Easy in-n-out access that requires nothing but a key. He was the best we have ever dealt with. So helpful and friendly. He even allowed us to have things sent to the house for our son that we forgot at home that he needed for his archery tournament. Once we arrived we were in awe of the views and Randy walked us thru everything. The kids enjoyed the pool every day and we enjoyed the outdoors, the grill and just being together. It was a home away from home and the perfect place to unwind after the archery tournaments!! Thanks for everything and we cant wait to be back again this time next year!
