Definitely designed for outdoorsy/athletic folks. There is a climbing gym, indoor skate park, yoga classes, etc. all in the hotel building that are super cool! Cute lobby with a cafe and free photo booth. Not a ton of close parking, but it is free. It’s just street parking, and most of the road is under construction as well as the lot on the other side of the street. Whole first floor smells like a gym. Rooms are nice, cute, and clean, but not very soundproof. Can hear people in other rooms and hallways pretty loud. If you are on a roadtrip and driving through Salt Lake city this is your place. We felt so strongly about this that we stayed here on the bkkkends of our trip to Yellowstone 8 days apart. We had a ton of stuff in the back of our truck so we lo ed tbat they have an all-night security guard watching the vehicles. Friendly and clean. Who could ask for more? Everything is modern, updated and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and bedding was fine. The only complaint I have is how tiny the room was. I shared a room with one other person and we could both barely open our suitcases. It was a good place to stop overnight. Parking is all street parking, so unloading and loading could be smoother. The gym was great, however as we went on a holiday it wasn't open overnight which would have been preferable but, that isn't anyone's fault. In the morning, it would have been easier to grab coffee and food at the cafe downstairs, however after we loaded the car and went back in, it turned out that they went on break.
